Came here for dinner and it was just what we were looking for. Lowkey spot with some good food and drinks and none of that other nonsense all these other restaurants are doing these days. Believe it or not the margaritas were some of the best we had and the food was delish! It didn’t look all fancy but it was bussin! Oof the flavors!! Abuela must be in the back cus it was on point. We ordered the cheese dip which was nice and creamy for a starter. Our mains were the taco enchiladas combo plate and el Jefe. Definitely filling. I am telling you, come around this way if you want good food. Would definitely come back. 10 out of 10 recommend.

My sister told me that this place is pretty good. I usually don’t like authentic Mexican food. They are usually too blend. But this place was pretty good. Steak in Steak Fajita was excellent. Cooked just right and seasoned perfectly. Wow! My daughter thinks it was the best steak that she ever had! And that’s saying a lot. Excellent food and excellent service!

** Update 2025-1024 – Best service! Had the Pork Belly Street tacos with Charro Beans. He had an Enchilada Combo. The flavor is consistent each time we go. Such a good meal. Love some Wheeler Walker, but totally not appropriate for dining. But doesn’t take away from the food. Simply delicious! PS: the old salsa was better.**

If you love Mexican food and great service, this is the place! I’ve never left here without being full, having great food and margaritas, and being served with great precision. The staff is remarkable for a quaint Mexican restaurant. There is fun Karaoke Night, but it doesn’t beat the food and service. I suggest the Margarita Flight! Marcus is a man of his word and makes the best suggestions for the flight. We are definitely repeat customers!

Today was my second visit to the restaurant, I ordered the “steak charro”, and once again, the food was exquisite, the fruit juices were also delicious, and the menu offers a wide variety of dishes and cocktails, It’s a family-friendly restaurant, and it also has a nice bar area.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how great the food was here. I was super excited when I saw bomb pop margaritas on the window and then over the moon happy when I saw they had margarita flights. I suggest maybe sharing with a friend as they are very generous with the tequila. The food was excellent. I got the combo fajitas and they were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Will definitely go back here.

Came in on a Tuesday night for dinner. I ordered carnitas and stuck to water. I asked for a jalapeno as well. The carnitas wasn’t too bad. It wasn’t as flavorful as I thought it would be. Portion was also smaller than expected for dinner. The complementary chips and salsa were pretty good. Service was okay. The jalapeno I asked for didn’t come sliced; it was just a whole jalapeno. I would’ve liked it to have been sliced prior to being given to me because my knife was a dinner knife and was not easy to use to cut up a raw jalapeno. I didn’t wait too long for my server to take my order. It also didn’t take very long for me to get my order from the kitchen. I did, however, wait some time to get my waiter’s attention so that I can ask for my check. I sat at the bar where the dining area next to it was filled with diners who were participating in a karaoke night. It seemed like everyone was having a lot of fun. It was a pretty good vibe. I think this is a routine occurrence, which seems like fun. I may come back and try a different dish to see if it was just a miss when I went last time.

This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The owner has spent money to improve the restaurant with new furniture and great employees with excellent service. Unfortunately they changed the salsa. The new salsa is terrible and ruins the dining experience. I’ve asked the last two times I’ve been for an alternative salsa or possibly return to the previous salsa which the owner refuses. I guess I’ll take my business elsewhere.
