The staff were quite cordial and the food is always excellent. I enjoy the quality and flavor of the food so much that I ordered my meal to eat there and ordered additional food to take home with me. I have been here on several occasions and they never fail to impress – ever since my first visit 8 years ago up to my most recent encounter. Highly recommended.

We had such a wonderful night tonight. We haven’t been here in awhile. There was live music, it was such a fun atmosphere. There was a family that brought a game to play at the table in the corner while they ate. The waitress brought around a free shot of Tequila for adults that wanted one and the host offered a great suggestion of something he thought my husband should try for dinner. He was right, it was fantastic. There was even all you can eat fish fry and a cheeseburger for our picky 10 year old :). Family fun. We can’t wait to go back.

The fact that the meal wasn’t 100% comped is a disgrace to the entire restaurant industry. Service was awful, took more than 30 minutes to take our order. Drinks took 30 minutes to show up. Food took an hour and a half to show up. When the food arrived, most of it was cold, several meals were wrong, and it all tasted awful… shrimp tasted like it was rotten, no seasoning on the fajitas. No one finished the meal.

Seated immediately on a Friday night, our server was attentive and friendly, the margaritas were awesome, and they even added jalapenos to my dish for extra spicyness!! Always a great place for dinner!!

The Hartford location is very good! Please try the Shrimp Cocktail, it is not anything ordinary. When it was brought out, I was worried it was tomato juice with Shrimp. No… no way- The flavors have me so addicted, I will order this and bring friends and family just to have it. WOW. The other dish was a steak chimichurri (they make a salad version but I asked for it to be made like the meal version of the chicken chimichurri) Comes with tortillas also. The steak was done phenomenally and had a great presentation. (So did the Shrimp cocktail) Order these two and you will be back for more. Usually, at the WB location the food comes out so fast, and at the Hartford location.. I believe it was cooked and made with love. Our waiter was really great. Was a young and with amazing manners. Great food and staff.

Enjoyed a late dinner with amazing friends at Casa Tequila in Hartford. The food and the service was top notch.
I ordered the Alambre Cancún:
Grilled and chopped steak, pork, ham, onion, red and green pepper and pineapple, covered with melted cheese. Served with tortillas, spanish rice, refried beans and a side of guacamole. Tres Leches cake was so yummy!
Anne had the Enchiladas al Gusto:
Filled with ground beef, shredded chicken or barbacoa, covered with red mild sauce, green spicy sauce or mole sauce. Topped with melted cheese. She loved the Flan for dessert.

I found the wait staff very friendly and informative. I ordered fish Tacos which came with rice and beans. The fish taco had crispy deep fried Cod with watery cold slaw and cold mango chunks. The combined flavor and texture of the taco fell short of that of an excellent fish taco. Both the rice and beans were excellent.

Casa Tequila is easily one of my favorite Mexican spots in the area! The service is outstanding and the food is excellent. Great atmosphere as well! Absolutely recommend giving it a try if you haven’t already. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
