Tried a Mexican restaurant in Mattawan and really enjoyed it. The interior is decent, but the food is the real highlight — great taste and generous portions. The drinks were also really good, and there are so many options to choose from. Loved that they have solid vegetarian options too. Would definitely go back.

Casa Tequila in Mattawan is a great spot for authentic Mexican food. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious and their alcoholic drinks are so yummy. The staff is always friendly and the service is quick. Prices are great and it’s a comfortable spot for lunch or dinner with cozy booths. Convenient location right in Mattawan makes it an easy go-to.

A very festive place. The food was very good. The only reason I didn’t rate the food a 5 was I was expecting a deep fried chimichanga and it tasted more like it was made in a frying pan. The exterior was soft, not crunchy. Ever since Chi Chi’s went out oof business, I’ve been searching for a chimichanga like the one they served, but my search continues. The service was excellent however.

This was our first trip to Casa Tequila. Great food and the best margaritas! Ricky took great care of us and offered suggestions from the menu. If you like variety definitely try the margarita flight. It came with lime, pina colada, strawberry and mango. A basket of Tortilla chips and salsa came to start. We tried the Burrito perferido and the Enchilada del mar. Both were delicious. I would have liked a little more of the cheese sauce on the Burrito but when you ate it all together it was a delicious bite! We were not crazy about the fried ice cream. It was coated in what looked like fruity pebbles, not really sure but they were chewy. Definitely will be going back. Some of the best tasting Mexican food I’ve had.
