This is our 2nd visit. We ordered a to go family pack of 12 tacos, beans, rice, chips, salsa and queso. Everything was ready when promised and the service at the restaurant was excellent. I observed several interactions between the patrons and the waitress and she was professional and engaging. The place was very clean! My tacos were packaged in an aluminum tray w/lid and the rest was also securely packaged The tacos were amazing and they came with fresh lettuce and tomato. Everything was great that was included. We love Casa Taco!

I always love this place, west side location is a mile from the house. My new fave nachos. The chips are amazing and fresh just like the salsa and guacamole. A bag of chips with salsa can be substituted on the dinner plates, which is my preference. The service is nice. Their call in orders keep them busy you can tell, but they do get to the inside guests as quickly as they can. My favorite local spot.wished they served margaritas!

I hate to even make this review but this is the third time that this location has messed up my tacos. Each time I request no cheese and they have placed cheese. This time was absolutely unacceptable. They made my tacos with cheese then tried to scrape the melted cheese out of the tortillas and pile the shrimp back on top of it like there was never cheese. I have included photos as well. I have loved this restaurant for years but this unfortunately had completely eliminated my faith in this business.

I love the Academy location. This was our first time at the Montaño location. Food is excellent, of course. But I wanted to highlight the service of counter lady on Friday Jan 23 at dinner time. She was fantastic. Far better service than you’d expect from counter service. Great food. Great service.

Great people, great food. Ok place to sit and eat, fancier would cost more. The food really is great! Puffy tacos and Xmas beef enchiladas. Calabacitas are awesome. No wimpy chile either. Everything on the menu is great.

Ok let me tell you about this place! Like omg it’s awesome the food is very delicious and they just open it! I really recommend this place like omg! I’m very picky with my food I ain’t gonna lie! I always tell my husband and I quote you can take me to a 5 star restaurant if I don’t like the food I won’t hesitate on giving a 1 or 2 star depending on the food! What can I say I love food and I must like it in order to give a review! I really like this place yea some reviews may say other wise as mine the only way your able to find out is by trying it yourself! I do read the reviews myself but I also like going and trying it myself so high five for this small joint/restaurant good job on the food and everything for sure well be back! blessings everyone!

I have loved Casa Taco since they opened their location on Academy. The food is always hot, fresh, and tasty. The staff there are friendly and helpful. That said, I was very excited when the Montano location opened. At first, it was fine. Not as good as the Academy location, but decent. Since it opened, though, service has gone downhill and the food is just — not good. The carne asada is overly salted, the chile lacks flavor but is also very spicy. Oh, and there is hardly ever any salsa or fresh limes at the salsa bar. It looks days old. I suppose I could get over that stuff, but the worst part is the service. Counter staff seem bothered that you are there. There have been a couple times where they got my order wrong and another time where they gave me someone else’s order entirely and wanted to charge me for it. I know this happens from time to time, but it seems to happen way too often here. Speaking of rude staff, the other day my mom was there and went to the counter to get salsa (because there wasn’t any at the salsa bar.) The lady told her, “If you’d leave me alone, I could make it.” Just so rude. I will continue going to the Academy location, but I won’t go to the Montano one anymore.
