Once you’re seated in the warm, dim atmosphere, you’ll be greeted with hefty portions of delicious food. We started with the cheesy garlic bread (careful not to fill up on this before your meal gets there) and I had the herb crusted cod with fries and Mac and cheese. Everything was presented wonderfully, and tasted just as good as it looked. Friendly staff, as well.

We had a very good visit and great food. It was our first visit as well as our first time to venture out to a restaurant since Covid-19. They took our temperature at the door and seated us more than 6 feet from any nearby tables. Our server wore a mask. The menus were disposable so no one else had been touching them. I was very impressed with the precautions they took. Now…the FOOD! They had a very nice menu. I ordered bourbon salmon, my daughter ordered scallops and my husband ordered fried cod sandwich dinner. All three of us were very satisfied with the flavor and presentation. The only reason I did not give the review 5-stars is because it took a bit too long to receive the meal and the temperature was lukewarm. The flavor of everything was great. We will definitely return!

Another great dining experience! It was super busy for a Monday, and they were short-staffed but the two waitresses were on top of it and did a great job! The brisket and burgers are always great and tonight I tried something different and had the pork chop. It was cooked perfectly and had an amazing flavor with the sliced apple topping. The sides are always good and portions are large. We also love the bread & oil. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

No crowd on a Monday lunch. Despite the Hispanic name, this is a straight American burger and steak joint. We each ordered burgers, one with fries and one with slaw. Burgers came quickly. A bit crusty but the toppings were right. The fries had an odd after-taste. Talked to waitress who said they probably bought ,”the cheapest soy oil they could get. So the after taste was probably burnt oil.
I wouldn’t hesitate to go back but it wouldn’t be my first choice either.

Unfortunately, if you are like us and back road traveling looking for a smokehouse or bbq spot.. this is not it. Don’t be tricked by the vibe of the building (which is really cool) and the name (the smokehouse part). The food was not what i was expecting. The brisket was dry, which would explain why they put so much bbq sauce on it. The waitress was nice and offered me to take it home anyway while they prepared a new order. I decided to not try it again (nor take the order home) and chose a steak instead. Ended up being decent but quite salty.. ( me and the steak). I was offered a dessert for the inconvenience but I can’t eat sugar so my kids received an extra treat. Overall bummed. Really hoped we had discovered a new spot. The search for good bbq continues.

I’ll start by saying I absolutely recommend this place. Excellent food for all parties at my table. Exterior was a little rough from a distance but has character up close. Interior is very homey. There is room for improvement. We all waited for drinks at my table longer than acceptable. We didn’t receive bread for the table until after we all finished our appetizers because the bread was baking. Etc. All minor inconveniences. However, I felt it necessary to include these as it was a hindrance on the experience and came with an undertone of chaos. I don’t believe it was our waitress who was at fault. It seemed like more of a lack of management and/or proper systems being in place this night. Our waitress was nice and was always zooming somewhere to help a table. Overall I would say this was still a great experience at this establishment and would be happy to return.
