They started the business as El Jalapeno and then decided to change their own name as Casa Sol by 2008, improving the quality in every area. Their love & passion for the Traditional Mexican Food started since the very beginning using unique inspired recipes, special ingredients, new techniques preparing the food and the quality of their specialties and signature dishes.

All I want to say is that the large strawberry margarita is extremely large. It is enough for 2 people. If you are a lightweight order the smaller size. I was not aware of this when I ordered it. We ordered the buffet. Here is a tip. Use the complimentary chips provided to make nachos from the buffet. The desserts on the buffet were lacking in variety. The soft serve ice cream was only limited to kids. We are looking forward to going back.

The waitress didn’t speak English but we made it work. We had to find her for refills. The food wasn’t terrible but it was hot. As soon as I paid the check I went back to leave a tip that’s when I noticed the biggest couch roach I’ve ever seen. I left the tip and went in my mary way never to return again.

Stopped because of the sign that said $7.99 lunch specials, drinks included. There was one waitress that was slammed. We were seated and given the lunch special menus. We both ordered lunch special #2, burrito rice and beans. We got our food well before our drinks. When we got done, we tried to leave, but our check wasn’t ready. When the check finally came, we were charged $2.99 for a sweet tea, and $3.29 for a soda. When we asked, there is a special lunch special menu we have to order from to get the $7.99 special. We ordered the wrong $7.99 special.

Great atmosphere and food. The steak, shrimp and chicken in my Casa Sol Burrito were tender, tasty and cooked to perfection. I’ve paid much more at other restaurants for food half as good. Well done! Everyone was pleasant and genuinely concerned that we had a great experience. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

We have been visiting this restaurant for 13+ years, the service is never really the “best” anyways, but we had the WORST experience a few nights ago. We had a younger female as our waitress and off the rip she had an attitude with me, in front of my 7 and 5 year old. (Maybe she was intimidated because we seemed close in age and she seemed embarrassed to be a waitress? Not sure. ) We ordered our food, again we have been coming here for years and we order the same thing every time we come. Well, the food came out and mine was wrong, no big deal, I said “hey sorry my order is wrong” and with the nastiest attitude, our waitress ARGUED – not even a nice tone, and said “well she didn’t order that. I didn’t get it wrong” we proceeded very confused with “okay? Well, we just want it fixed” and we were told “well if you would have ordered it right the first time” starting to aggressively argue with my husband, again IN FRONT OF OUR CHILDREN, I cut her off and asked for a different server and she said she couldn’t do that. So we found the manager and requested one and immediately received someone else. In return, the waitress we dealt with originally huddled around the bar with the other servers laughing at us and speaking about us loud enough for us to hear. The whole experience was uncomfortable. Before leaving we addressed the matter with the SAME manager again and we were told she was “special” and literally NOTHING was done about the scenario. They allowed the staff to treat us in such an unprofessional manner. I was and still am truly appalled.

I held off writing my review until my second trip here just in case the first was a fluke and it was not. Our first experience was so good that I thought a repeat was impossible and I was wrong. The food here is amazing. That’s not an exaggeration. My 13 year old daughter and I have been here twice and both times we both cleaned our plates. Like scraping the plate with the fork and almost disappointed that there is no more other than the fact that you are completely full and satisfied. It’s as close to perfect as I think you can get. The service is great, not neglectful and not over the top checking on you every other minute like a needy girlfriend. It’s right in the middle and friendly. The facilities are very clean the lighting is appropriate and even the music has been great. And the pricing is really awesome. Under $50.00 for two people to eat including a hefty (close to 80%) tip each time is impossible to find these days not to mention the quality for the price. I had ordered here through Uber Eats before and it was very good but I would still highly recommend dining in. We have only been in the late afternoon/early evening on the weekend but I would imagine it’s the same all the time. If you are looking for a spot to get good Mexican food and your reading this then stop looking and go here. You can thank me later.
