I recently ate at Casa Santa and had mixed feelings about the experience. The food was actually really good. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were solid, and the flavors were exactly what you’d hope for when going out for Mexican food. I would definitely come back just for the food alone.
Unfortunately, the service at the beginning wasn’t great. Our waiter seemed to forget about us for long stretches of time until we asked what’s going on. We had to wait quite a while to order our food and to even get checked on. It felt like we were a bit overlooked compared to other tables.
Overall, the food was the highlight and definitely worth trying, but the service could really use some improvement.

That was our first visit after asking AI to addalar us a new place that we had never been to. Definitely had worth it. Great atmosphere, and even in the last minute, we had found a place available for reservation. Andrea was so kind and friendly while offering the best in the menu. Margaritas were delicious, and the food presentation was really good! If you are looking for a good Mexican restaurant with a nice atmosphere, just give it a try here!

First opportunity to experience the Casa Santa and what a heavenly surprise. For starters, the chips and salsa are the bomb. With the guacamole freshly made for a truly authentic and Mexican experience.
The enchiladas and chimichangas were both entrees that were on point. Yet, the star of the show was our amazing server Rio who truly took center stage. The atmosphere was amazing and the decor fabulous. This will be my new spot for a minute.

We tried to celebrate my daughter’s birthday at Casa Santa yesterday. My daughter was excited to order a dish that was flaming. So disappointed that they couldn’t get it to light. She would have ordered something else! I have NEVER been to a restaurant where they FORCED you to order a dessert in order of them to sing Happy Birthday to you. Customer service was very disappointing after dropping several hundred dollars on our meal. Ending on a positive note, the food was awesome!

I visited Casa Santa during the Devour Indy event, hoping it would be a great opportunity to try a new restaurant, but unfortunately it fell short of expectations.
We ordered the pollo asado, and the chicken was extremely overcooked — so dry that it was genuinely difficult to chew. For a featured dish during a food event meant to showcase the restaurant, this was disappointing.
Devour Indy is supposed to highlight a restaurant’s flavorful offerings (with smaller portions sure but flavorful) and leave diners excited to come back, but this experience did the opposite. I really wanted to enjoy the meal, but the quality just wasn’t there.
I hope this was an off night, because the concept has potential, but based on this visit, it missed the mark. The other dish, cochinita pibil, was also average and ran a little dry. Just very sad for what the experience and the pricepoints of entrees are.

I do not have too many photos for this place, but I can assure you that it is absolutely beautiful. The layout and the set up of the restaurant is something not easily found in Indianapolis. I went there with a big group for a birthday and we were well taken care of. Our waitress paid keen attention to everyone’s request and was helpful with the cake (which we brought). I will absolutely go back, without a doubt.
