Excellent and authentic. Really enjoyed the covered outside dining. I had the green chile burrito with chicken. This was a busy weekend with the Aspen trees at peak viewing. Really was fantastic to have decent food….many thanks!

So happy we stopped here. Had a really wonderful (not too sweet) two-handed margarita. Fresh chips, salsa, and queso. And the main course was superb- the pork in my meal was so good. Excellent service, as well. I can’t believe small mountain towns have such excellent Mexican food, but I’m so grateful they sometimes do.

They got us in one minute till 9 PM. Super nice margaritas were good strong and fish tacos were the bomb. And they have this amazing homemade Mexican tequila reposado that’s got this agave sweetness that is to die for and above. All the prices are more reasonable than most.

The food was spot on and the large margaritas are amazing. And to top it of at the end of your meal they give you a free Mexican dessert witch is a shot of tequila on the house. I am in Fairplay every so often and I enjoy stopping here for a good meal and enjoyable time.

I would love to give Casa Sanchez five out of five stars because the staff was so nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, I had the Carnita burrito with queso which looked amazing when it came out, definitely good portion size, but the carnitas were tough and very chewy. The salsas that came with the chips were unique and different from what I’ve had before, which I was excited about, but they ended up being a bit bland and could have used at the very least a little more salt. I think with a few tweaks this place could be great because they certainly have the amazing staff for it!

First time in FairPlay Colorado and wanted to have a good meal and this place is not the place my hard taco didn’t have meat I had a spoon full of beans and my sons carne asada tacos were so burnt he couldn’t eat them and 2 tortillas for 2 pieces of meat I’m from Arizona so maybe I expected great food but don’t get what I hoped for

AMAZING! We live in El Paso and often don’t go out for Mexican food because that’s all that’s here, but OH MY GOSH! We got the carnitas + chicken combo fajitas plate for 2! The carnitas were melt in your mouth amazing. So flavorful. Best carnitas ever! This was 2 weeks ago and I have the craving to this day. I loved the green sauce served with the chips as well.

I had the best service and the food was amazing. They have a giant margarita and not everyone can control their volume in the outdoor seating area. Made for an uncomfortable solo female dinner experience.
