We stopped in here last night, thankful they were open later than 8:00. They immediately had chips and two delicious salsas with water at our table. The raspberry margarita was yummy, and the quesabirria tacos were to die for. The pork tacos were also delicious. Our server and the staff were excellent, attentive, and kind. The atmosphere was also so fun!

Casa Sanchez, a Bailey eatery we’ve heard good things about, was where we had Saturday supper. The last time we were in this building it was occupied by The Smiling Pig, a BBQ joint that was okay. Funny, the decor is still the same!
The service and the food were exceptional. The roasted tomatillo and avocado salsas were nice variations from the norm. Our wings were breaded, fried well and drenched in a delicious red chile sauce with strong black pepper flavor.
We shared a combo plate with a chicken chalupa, a crispy chile relleno and a pork tamale, all of which along with the sides were top notch. It was a wonderful meal with wonderful company.
Extra points: we left our to-go box on the table and our server ran out to the parking lot with it.

Casa Sanchez – A Little Slice of Mexico with a Side of Mountain Vibes (and Free Shots!)
Before we even hit Bailey, we’d already decided: Mexican food or bust. My husband is a die-hard fan of all things fajitas and tequila, so we had Casa Sanchez locked in like a flavor mission.
It’s a nice, good-sized restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Now, I love summer—but I also love my sanity, so I opted for the sweet, sweet hug of air conditioning while we ate. Inside seating for the win. ☀️❌
We were greeted and seated right away, and the young man who took care of us was on it—friendly, fast, and no nonsense. Our drinks and food came out quickly, and let me tell you, everything was delicious. From start to finish, it hit all the right notes. And then… the cherry on top: FREE SHOTS at the end of the meal. I mean—YES PLEASE. Bless this restaurant.
Now let’s get real for a sec: When you leave the big city, finding good Mexican food can feel like a gamble. I’ve had some past experiences where—no offense—but it was basically a group of confused white folks in the kitchen making flavorless regret. Not here though. Casa Sanchez knows what they’re doing, and the food reflects that.
Great service, delicious food, cold drinks, and surprise tequila? I call that a win. Highly recommend if you’re in the area—or even if you’re not. Just bring your appetite, the portions are HUGE

For starters, I’m a chef, I don’t eat out often but when I do I hold restaurants to the same expectations I hold myself to professionally because I could always just make it myself.
Casa Sanchez did not disappoint, the cost is good, the portions are ample, the margaritas are huge, and most importantly the food is good. I was very happy with my lengua and my wife’s ceviche was delightful. Plus they have menudo and tripa on the menu which is always a good sign in my book. I’ll have to go back for the 7 Mares soup as it’s one of my favorite dishes but I didn’t have nearly enough room in my stomach to tackle all of that, especially with the house salsas they give out with chips when you sit. Both are very good but the green is excellent, so don’t sleep on that. Highly recommend

Visited this place in March when we were 2 minutes away from our Airbnb and got delayed because of a car running into a power line! The drinks are delicious and strong! Very good flavors too. Such a nice staff! Our waiter gave us 2x tequila shots on the house because of the stressful night. They do catering too! We didn’t visit any other places in Bailey on our stay so can’t compare to the other local fare but this place was definitely worth the 2 hour diversion! My kids loved their meals too but loved their chips and salsa more!

We had the best random lunch here on the slightly-hungover way home from an amazing weekend in the mountains. Perfect place. Perfect time. Dear Nikki (our lovely, fabulous server- with two Ks). You made our day! You’re the best ! Thanks so much for suggesting that I order the XXXXL margarita the size of a small fish tank (no joke). New favorite Bailey place. On yeah- the food was delicious too.

Food has been great every time we visited. Complimentary chips and salsa’s upon arrival and a shot of tequilla at the end. Staff is polite and accommodating. Price and portions are excellent. Much better than other Mexican style restaurants in the area.

Finally took the time to stop in for dinner here since they opened! First, holy cow, these folks are so nice! From the hostess to the bartender, to the staff, very friendly great people! Second, I ordered the carne asada burrito to go, since I had my pittie in the truck waiting,I was shocked when they came out 10min later with this monster burrito to go! I know, so many say size doesn’t matter, but I’m telling you, it Absolutely does!! And it’s not that I’ve been single for a while, and easily impressed, I’m telling you, this thing was HUGE! Stuffed with asada, a little veggie & a little rice, guacamole & pico on the side, although I was equally impressed they found room in this half sheet size to go container! They also gave me chips n salsa & some churros for dessert! As I head out the door carrying my suitcase size order, this thing had some heft to it! Upon arriving home, my truck thoroughly wafting the aroma of my meal, I peel off that steam covered lid to finally reveal this masterpiece of a burrito, smothered in the most delicious enchilada red sauce! The asada was tender, perfectly seasoned, the entire experience was wonderful , absolutely worth an $18 entree, as this will likely be 3 meals for me, last pic is 1/3 of the whole that I portioned off for tonight. Can’t wait for lunch tomorrow! Thank you Casa Sanchez!

I’m so grateful Casa Sanchez is here in Bailey now! Great service, delicious food, and tasty (and very strong 😉 ) margaritas! What more could you ask for? Fish tacos are my new favorite, but I also loved the white queso enchiladas and the fajitas… YUM! Thank you casa Sanchez!!!!
P.S- it’s nice to have a place you can afford to go to often in Bailey, and .99cent taco Tuesday is just great for the community, more people being able to get out of their house and enjoy each others company. Cheers to another third place in Bailey <3

While the food is good and most oof the sts$ are nice, tonight was our last time dining there. We have a consistent group of 12 people who get together every Tuesday night for tacos. The challenge is that the owners REFUSE to split checks and are quite rude about it. While thisbis certainly there parogative, tonight will be our last Taco Tuesday. There are other Mexican restaurants in the area with similar food where customer service is top priority. It’s been a fun year of Taco Tuesdays.
