If I can give their food a negative review I would!! Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! We wanted to try a new place because we saw this restaurant on SLCFoodie Instagram. I don’t know who is running that page, but they should be fired! This food was inedible! I got the short ribs. They were EXTREMELY TOUGH and could barely cut through the meat! Didn’t even bother trying to eat it. My husband got a skirt steak and it was just as rough! The manager (Carlos) was extremely sweet and trying to do his best to make the customer happy. I appreciate that very much and he is a good employee. Honestly, we will not be coming back.. and I do hope they look over their menu and revise it. This was very unacceptable.

Social media had me thinking, i gotta try this place and even my 7yr old son was happy we did. The drinks were a presentation i highly recommend, the whole restaurant floor was watching as people ordered different drinks and each had its own unique flavorful presentation and fresh ingredients. The food was the same, steak cut and cooked perfectly. The seafood was a step up, disassembled and placed nicely into a plate and very tasty! The staff was very polite about us asking questions about food and drinks and for that i say thank you , new-by gringos felt accepted and we loved the atmosphere they created!

We went to Casa Salvaje to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was incredibly flavorful, with generous portion sizes that did not disappoint. Every dish tasted fresh and well-prepared.
The drinks were so fun and creative—definitely added to the overall experience.
Jonathan, our server, truly made the night special. He took the time to explain the menu, offered great recommendations, and provided attentive, friendly service throughout the evening.
Between the amazing food, fun drinks, and outstanding service, it was a memorable celebration. Highly recommend Casa Salvaje for a special occasion or a great night out!

So today my wife and I decided to visit Casa Salvaje for lunch. It was recommended to us by another Colombian restaurant. Oh boy were we pleasantly surprised when we entered this restaurant. We were welcomed by Abigail who took great care of us from beginning to end. It’s been a while since we’ve encountered such a wonderful person like Abigail. She was charming and extremely pleasant a true professional who was able to answer all of my wife’s questions. She provided us with great customer service and I must say you are lucky to have her! This restaurant looks amazing!! Loved the Halloween decorations! We could tell someone had gone thru great lengths to make really special. The music was wonderful as we waited for our food. It was served quite quickly. I got to tell you the food was just as amazing!!!! My wife loves seafood and she ordered the seafood casserole and she absolutely loved it!! I ordered picanha, delicious!! It came with potatoes, corn and I wanted some beans and rice to go along with it. I was very happy!! The chef is great!! I took pictures but the photo isn’t great as my camera is not in the best shape. I can’t wait to bring the rest of my family to try out this wonderful restaurant. At the end of our meal Abigail offered us a delicious coffee with cinnamon. It was a very nice experience and it began the moment we walked in. Highly recommend this place thank you!!

The first time we came here before Christmas it was fantastic. The lamb was delicious. Sitting here now on 3/8/2026 and I am not happy with the service or the food. It took 20 minutes just to get a water. Then my meal came out at the same time. The rest of my tables came 20 minutes after that. I sent mine back since it was cold and I didn’t want to eat without my family. They then reheated my plate and brought it back. Everything was still cold. And when the waiter (Jonathan) came back 20 minutes later he wanted to reheat it. Again. I am never coming back here and I will tell others to not to either.

Drove almost 1hr to give this establishment a try only to leave disappointed.
I was craving a good “chicharrón” and this one was bland, cold and not cook to perfection. The margarita was terrible – a drink not easy to mess up, it really lacked all the main flavors. Tasted nothing like a margarita.
Carlos, my waiter was super nice and attentive. Unfortunately I will not be returning.
Update: Sadly the owner can’t handle a honest bad experience review

This place ended up winning me over… A little anyway. I expected to have one star on everything except atmosphere and there they definitely excelled. The menu was hard to read the music was loud there were no vegetarian options. service was a little slow, but I think they had just gotten going at 6 pm on a Friday. and I think the staff is new and unaware of non alcoholic drinks, so we had water.

Jonathan was absolutely incredible! He said he was new but without him telling you, you would never know! First time here and he took great care of us! Great atmosphere and very very delicious food with a great show that comes along with almost everything you order!
