Excellent local spot! The menudo rojo is very spicy and flavorful, and the carne asada quesadillas are a must-try. Even the chips and salsa are great. Friendly staff and a wonderful family-owned vibe. We’ve found our new regular spot! 4.5/5 stars.

This restaurant has been here since 1957, I think.
The atmosphere is that of a great area restaurant which has been here forever.
The portions are generous and the food is great.
People could crowd in here at times.
You gotta love being in with a happy crowd.

First time in the area so we stopped at Casa Rivera and were very glad that we did. Great food (my son and I both got the #1 combo plate) and some of the friendliest people that you’ll ever meet. I highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Yum so good. We love Casa Rivera, always have a great meal there. No beer but that’s ok with me. Carne asada combo burrito is my favorite, with the pollo asado a close second. My wife loves their enchiladas and their chimi style burritos are awesome too.

Food was amazing! First time here and it was great! Service was very friendly and fast especially the lady working the front. Very cozy cafe with lots of menu options that are priced very reasonable and the amount of food you get is extremely generous!
I got the ground beef nachos and my 2 year old got pancakes with sausage and a side of bacon. Everything was super good it all tasted amazing and came out fresh and hot.
I never leave reviews but this was well worth it.

Amazing! Delicious food, polite folks, homey decor that seems lovingly collected. We got the beef tacos and red pork tamales and ate it while camping. So good we couldn’t help but stop again when we had to come back to town to use our cell phones, had a burger and BLT, very good. The horchata may be a little strong for some on the cinnamon flavor but I loved it! Definitely have to visit again next time we go camping.

We’d heard great things about this restaurant and decided to try it out. We got the famous Rudy’s Special Burrito and it fed 2 of us! I didn’t feel the hot sauce was too spicy. Service was fast, they were friendly, checking on us often, and chatted with us as we left. Quaint local joint that is highly recommend. We’re coming back to try the other items on their menu!
