If I could give this place more stars I would! The food was so flavorful. Best restaurant in Cornwall hands town. The only thing I ordered that i didn’t like was the French Onion Soup. It was good, but could have been better. Didn’t have a ton of flavor. Everything else was next level. Their stuffed eggplant will change your life!!!!

My husband and I made a reservation for 6:30 this evening and we arrived early, at 6:15. The first words spoken by the greeter were “Happy New Year”. I told her we were early and she said, “no problem at all” and took us to our seats. Our server, whose name was Sandra, and couldn’t have been more professional, arrived immediately and took our drink order. She was back in no time with our drinks and gave us time to look over the menu. It’s a huge menu! We made our decisions and she was back in no time with warm bread and our Caesar salads, which were both delicious. Our entrees came in good time and were both delicious. This is not the first time we have dined here and it has always been the same good service and good food. This is not a cheap place to dine with kids. You people should know better. Go to a pizza joint or a fast food restaurant next time!

We arrived at 4:15pm, they had just opened , we were greeted and sat at our table promptly, the restaurant was empty yet they sat us directly next to another couple which limited the privacy of conversation due to the empty quiet atmosphere. The food was quite disappointing, the garden salad was refreshing but our bread although fresh the butter was cold which made it rock solid and unspreadable, when we received our meal the steak although cooked perfectly was very fatty and the entire meal was lacking seasoning and flavour. My husband had pasta that again noodles were cooked perfectly but lacking in flavour … we ended the night with a Milky Way cake which was delicious and the raseberry sauce went really well with the chocolate. All in all, I would say for the cost you might be better off just going to east side Mario’s , at least it’s fresh bread and real butter…. Unlimited soup and salad….

We went on St Valentine’s day and they had a special menu for the evening. We had reservations. Everything was fine until we receive our mean meals which was for the next table. That table was just served before us with our meals. Which I mention at the waitress. They had touch the plates that was served to them. Thinking it will take a little longer to get a plate because of the confusion a few minutes when by and our plates were ready …I notice a piece of my chicken was cut. I was told they were making sure it was chicken and not veal. I know that the presentation of those plates would have a slight difference. I sent my plates back. My husband kept his. But I notice when others people around us got their steak plates That their steak was double the size my husband had. My conclusion is we were served our plate after someone had a chance to tasted it. We are not planning on going back nor will I recommend this restaurant

Decided to celebrate our 5th anniversary together at this restaurant. Both of us it was our first time eating at this restaurant. We were not disappointed, the food was delicious, the service was impeccable and it ended up being a magical moment as well, my boyfriend proposed, so it was extra special as our first time. Definitely going to eat there again.

I went with family for a birthday and had a fairly enjoyable time. There were some misses like the cream of broccoli soup and it looked as though our salad portions were significantly smaller than other people around us, especially those who came later. Service was slow and our waters weren’t topped off as often as we would like. Also, one of us asked for roast potatoes on the side of our food but got the baked potato instead. However, the steak was cooked to perfection and the lobster was great. The issue came as we asked for lobsters on the side of our steaks as we wanted the 14oz and 10oz strip loins. Although the 10oz is cheaper than the filet mignon that comes with the surf and turf we were charged for the two lobster dinner. If we knew that we would’ve just paid for another entree and got all the fixings instead of paying the same price for adding it on the side.
If you are willing to pay top dollar for the food I would recommend. But read the menu and make sure you are getting the correct deal as some of the specials are the same as the regular menu but charge more.

We were misled by these reviews! We had a very disappointing experience at Casa Paolo and unfortunately cannot recommend it. My family went the 4 of us.
When we first called to make a reservation, the call was abruptly hung up. On our second attempt, the person answering was unfriendly and dismissive, which already set the wrong tone.
When we arrived at 9:00 pm with two small children, there were more than 10 empty tables visible, yet we were told to wait. We waited for 8 minutes. While we understand seating policies, it felt unnecessary given how quiet the restaurant was at the time.
Prices were extremely high compared to the quality.
A simple Alfredo pasta was $29 plus $6 just to add chicken, and overall entrées were $38+.
Portion sizes were very small for the price. The pasta was not home made, it was too perfect and looked like boxed pasta.
We felt ripped off.
The salad served was wilted and tasteless. It was so small and brown.
Our child’s meatball was significantly undercooked—pink inside, which is unsafe and unacceptable.
Drinks were tiny, over $4 each, and no refills offered.
Despite complaining about the salad there was no discount offered. For two adults and one child (with a kids’ meal included), the total came to over $120—outrageous given the poor quality and portion sizes.
What is the least amount you can do to get the most from the wallets of people coming to this restaurant. In all my travels around the world and within Canada, this was unacceptable food and service.

Wonderful place for a lovely dinner. Excellent service, delicious food, an upscale atmosphere. Always have had a delicious meal every time I have eaten here. Highly reccommend. P.S. the patio in the summer is a lovely way to dine al fresco.
