Went for lunch time. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The pink lemonade was amazing. I got a beef crunchy taco and bean and cheese burrito. This is what love tastes like. We are so thankful they share their food with us. We are not worthy. Believe me it’s that good! My daughter got enchilada plate and was blown away. We will definitely be back!

I’d like to start off by saying Casa Ortiz is a genuine, loving atmosphere and the gratitude they show you, and your guests is phenomenal. We had a Sip & See for our newly grandson. Jessica and Gracie took care of all our needs. Went above and beyond. Food was fresh & delicious as always. Casa Ortiz even left us ALL the food that was left over so we could all enjoy later and the next day Their set up was beautiful. This family is very caring & it shows. We will definitely be back again, again. Definitely recommend 100%.

Really good food. I have tried multiple items and all have been really good. Friendly staff. Opens early but closed on weekends. Across the street from a hospital so it gets busy at times. Recommend it.

Location is great if you have to get any tests or imaging done at MCH Dr. Wheatley Stewart Medical Pavillion. Walked in and the staff was really friendly and welcoming. Service was fantastic and the food was probably some of the best Mexican food we’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. Definitely recommend Casa Ortiz in Odessa if you want a small local hole-in-the-wall place to eat.

Update: I’ve had a chance to eat at this restaurant a few times now. So I can say it’s delicious and the lady that works the front is very friendly. I love the vibe in this place. Very warm and inviting.

I ordered the brisket gordita plate. The gorditas were golden fried, delicious. The brisket was very tasteful. The refried beans that were very good.

The staff there was very nice and helpful I can’t say a bad word about the service, it’s just I’ve ate alot of places all over and the food here was not good. There was no cilantro in the salsa the chips were stale no salt no flavor the salsa was just hot no flavor. The chicken tasted gamey and I honestly threw it up in the bathroom. The only thing that was ok was the hard shell beef taco but if I’m gonna spend my money to eat out I expect it to be better then what I make at home and this was a complete waste of money..and the place it wedged in a corner by the hospital hard to get to parking is scarce, and the bathroom stunk of poo so bad their febreeze doesn’t help. Maybe it was a bad day idk but I wouldn’t recommend this place.
