Maria took the time to really sit down with us and get to know who we are and what mattered most to us. She helped us thoughtfully plan an incredible cocktail hour and dinner menu and was beyond generous and fair with pricing, which meant so much during the planning process. On our wedding day, Juan Carlos and his team were prompt, professional, and provided outstanding service from start to finish.
Our guests—and even other vendors—could not stop raving about the food and asking where Casa Nuova was located so they could come back for more. For cocktail hour, we had a beautiful charcuterie board along with passed hors d’oeuvres including meatballs, bacon-wrapped dates, and bruschetta. Dinner was a served buffet featuring tossed Caesar salad, roasted vegetables, lasagna, tortellini in champagne sauce, salmon, and chicken francese—every single dish was out-of-this-world delicious. We had a few guests with allergies ranging from gluten to nuts to dairy and their team provided a safe, delicious meal that they loved! The night was perfectly capped off with cannolis and coffee, giving us the energy to dance the night away.
Thank you, Casa Nuova, for giving us such an unforgettable experience. We are so grateful that we get to continue visiting the restaurant, enjoying our favorite food, reliving memories from our wedding day, and being surrounded by people who truly feel like great friends. We couldn’t recommend you more highly.
From the very first course, every dish exuded authentic Italian flavors that are clearly crafted with both tradition and creativity. They graciously accommodated my request to substitute the entrée with my favorite fish (Grouper), perfectly cooked in a delicate white wine sauce. It was absolutely delicious!
Maria and her staff always elevate the dining experience with genuinely friendly and attentive service, making you feel like family from the moment you walk in. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and always just right for any occasion.
This has become our go-to spot whenever we have family and friends visiting. We can always count on an amazing meal, impeccable service, and an authentic Italian dining experience. Highly recommended!
Casa Nuova Restaurant in Alpharetta
If you are looking for a traditional Italian place, this is IT!
The place was decorated to the hilt and it was Packed
Most of the staff has been there over 20 years and it shows-spot on and friendly
I arrived first and sat in the bar area where I overheard the bartender (I think his name is Andreas) reciting the MANY specials to the folks next to me. He was incredible and his explanations were not robotic as some can be.
Victoria was our server and she was also very good. Also worked here for over 20 years.
Entrees (all varied) photos below and were enjoyed by the 3 of us
The only downside was that our 7PM reservation ended up at 7:30
Would I go back: YES although it’s about a 45 minute drive from Norcross
I went there with a couple friends, and we started with fried mozzarella and clams. The appetizers alone had my expectations high — crisp crust on the mozzarella, paired with a tangy marinara, and the clams were fresh and flavorful, setting the tone for what turned into a really memorable evening.
For mains, I tried the seafood pasta with a mix of shrimp, mussels, and clams — the sauce had that deep, rich Italian‑restaurant flavor, hearty and comforting without being heavy. One of my friends went for the veal parmigiana, and the portion was generous, with tender meat and sauce that tasted like real, slow-cooked tradition (not some rushed chain version). Another friend got a vegetarian pasta, and the pasta itself was al dente and paired with fresh, nicely seasoned veggies — clearly they pay attention to quality whether you go meat or veggie.
One of the best parts was the feeling of being looked after. The staff — and I mean everyone: servers, hosts, even the people behind the scenes — gave real, genuine service. They didn’t rush us, checked in just the right amount, and made us feel like longtime guests instead of “customers.” Before we left, my friend mentioned how this is the kind of place you bring family for birthdays or choose for a “comfort‑food and wine” night.
If I had to nitpick: on a busy evening it does get packed, so there’s a bit of noise — but I don’t see that as a negative. It almost feels more alive that way.
In short: Casa Nuova isn’t trying to wow you with flashiness or trendy plating. Instead, it’s easygoing, generous, and real — for old‑school Italian food done with heart. I left feeling full, content, and already thinking about when I can go back for that seafood pasta again.
Casa Nuevo continues to be a wonderful place to gather and enjoy great Italian cuisine. We’ll definitely be back again soon!
This was our second year in a row using Casa Nuova, and they delivered again — just under 200 plates served and everything went smooth. The food was excellent, portions were generous, and everyone loved it — especially the chicken francese, lasagna, and tortellini.
What really stood out was the execution: on-time delivery, everything packed well, and the team included clear portion-size/serving instructions that were easy for volunteers to follow. That kind of detail matters when you’re feeding a big group, and Casa Nuova made it simple.
Casa Nuova doesn’t disappoint! First time here. The food was absolutely incredible—every dish bursting with authentic Italian flavor, from the seafood pasta overflowing with fresh shrimp, mussels, clams, and lobster, to the creamy baked dishes that felt like comfort on a plate.
But what made our evening truly memorable was the service. Ari, our waitress, went above and beyond with her warm personality, impeccable timing, and thoughtful recommendations. She made us feel like family. A special thank you as well to Maria’s son, Alex, who came by to check in and made sure everything was perfect—his pride in the restaurant truly shows.
A wonderful experience from start to finish. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
