The waitress was polite, however we effectively had no choice but to order the lamb, with the lack of menu availability blamed on the long weekend rather than any responsibility to plan or notify customers in advance.
We spent close to $200 on food and drinks that were extremely underwhelming and nowhere near reflective of the price or expectations. To actually enjoy our evening, we went to Nagisa just a few restaurants away as their kitchen was still opened and spent another $200 on a proper money worthy meal.
Customers should not have to spend $400 in one night simply because a restaurant fails to be transparent about limited menu availability. Better communication and preparation clearly needs improving.
The lamb was $50 and was 50% fat. If you want to spend $50 on fat just give it to me as I’m 100 percent fat. 0/10 I do not recommend!
The Grilled Asparagus wrapped in vegan bacon, finished with a fried vegan egg and a drizzle of white truffle oil, was an absolute showstopper! The subtle wood-fired flavour tied the whole dish together beautifully.
The Calzone was enormous (almost the size of a pillow!) and simply melted in your mouth. You could tell the pastry was made in-house — so light, fluffy, and full of flavour.
To finish, the Chocolate Tiramisu was dreamy, light, and absolutely delicious.
The vibe in the restaurant was warm and happy, with families and friends filling the tables. It was a wonderful dining experience from start to finish — highly recommended!
