I visited this establishment with my family expecting to enjoy a pleasant lunch. Unfortunately, our experience was significantly impacted by the conduct of a server identified as Yayi.
From the beginning, we were repeatedly ignored and ultimately denied service by this individual. Despite our clear attempts to order and receive assistance, she refused to help us and explicitly stated that she would not be serving our table. Her behavior was dismissive, unprofessional, and deeply inappropriate. As paying customers, we felt disrespected and unfairly treated.
Another server later approached our table and provided assistance. That individual was attentive, courteous, and professional, which we greatly appreciated. The food itself was excellent and met expectations in terms of quality.
However, the service we initially received was unacceptable and overshadowed what should have been a positive dining experience. No customer should feel insulted or refused service without cause. This was, without question, one of the most disappointing service experiences we have encountered.

I visited Casanova during a special event and had a great time. They served many Brazilian pastries such as coxinha, pastel, chicken pie and churrasco steak and they were all delicious. The staff members I interacted with were friendly and helpful.
Parking around this area is challenging since it’s near the Ferry st area but if you check Spot Hero, Park Whiz or any other parking apps you’ll find many parking lots on Raymond Ave (10 minute walk) for $10.

Great food, well seasoned, adequately priced, and bigger than expected portions. Good beer selection, too. There was a live band that was a bit too close to the tables and a bit too loud, but it didn’t take away from the experience too much. We’ll be sitting inside next time.

I love this place. It was one of my go-to spots when I visited North Jersey. It’s a Brazilian place and they mainly speak Portuguese. They have nightly live music, both Brazilian and American songs. Great atmosphere. It’s becoming a regular spot for me when visiting Northern NJ.

After a long night of doing God’s work with my brothers and sisters. I came here to treat myself! Wow this food is amazing I got the Brazilian steak dish as you can see 2 steaks 2 eggs rice, beans and fries this is a meal for a real alpha men!! And decided to try the famous Brazilian drink of Caipirinha it’s not my cup of tea but it’s worth the try! The only turn off is this restaurant is next to a planned parenthood… I didn’t know after I ate that next door they kill innocent babies

I absolutely enjoyed my lunch experience here at Casa Nova Adams. I was in the search of a hearty soup since it was a windy day after my day of nature stretching routine. Honestly, it was a beautiful surprise after not being able to find House of Soup. I stumbled across this Brazilian restaurant with a Beef Yucca soup and it was AMAZING. It was hearty but light; flavorful and full of color. And the pairing with the bread made it a perfect light lunch option to warm me up.

This is the best Brazilian restaurant ever, the food is fresh and delicious, the staff are totally kind, there’s bands playing music whole day, and the owner is the the icing on the cake, this guy knows how to make it the best experience.
