Casa Nostra in Westhoughton is a fantastic little Italian restaurant that never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, full of flavour, and clearly made with love. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and happy to help without being overbearing with the wonderful support and guidance from the main men Adrian and Castro It’s a great spot for a relaxed meal as a couple with friends or with family, Excellent food, great service, and good value for money. The atmosphere was quite nice and the staff were friendly, however the food was completely unseasoned. My partners steak didn’t even have salt on it and was chewy. My chicken dish was dry and tasteless. I could cook much better italian food at home for half the price.

Great Food, But Hospitality Needs Serious Improvement
We visited as a group of 9 for a Christmas party. The food was absolutely fantastic — hot, tasty, and fresh. No complaints at all there!
Service was understandably slow due to how busy it was, and a couple of orders were missed, but once we asked, everything arrived and everyone was happy. We each paid for our own drinks as we went along to avoid confusion, and at the end the waitress went around with the card machine so we could each pay separately for what we had. Again — no problem.
The problem came as we were leaving. The manager suddenly started shouting across the restaurant, accusing us of not paying the bill, even though we had all literally just paid. It was incredibly embarrassing and completely unnecessary. If there was a misunderstanding, all he had to do was quietly ask and we would have explained that everything had already been settled separately.
The issue was clearly that the till still showed a combined bill, and the manager wasn’t aware the waitress had split the payments. The poor waitress looked terrified and didn’t say a word — which makes me worry if this is how he speaks to his staff too.
In summary:
• ⭐ Food: 10/10 — absolutely brilliant
• Hospitality: shocking and very unprofessional
Such a shame, because the food really was fantastic. But the manager’s behaviour left a very bad impression and spoiled what should have been a lovely experience.
Will not be returning!

Amazing place to come for great, flavourful Italian food.
Came here for the first time last week and we had some truly good food, that tasted very authentic and was excellently made.
We had the three courses for a set price option, which in some places reduces your choices for what to have but not here, the options are wide and varied and every taste is catered for.
The starters were nice, I had the soup of the day (tomato) and my partner had the breaded mushrooms.
It was the mains that stole the show though, I had the chicken breast in peppercorn and cream sauce which was gorgeous! I had the mixed vegetables as my side and all together made a truly lovely meal.
My partner had the chicken stroganoff and she was blown away by it, even as far as to say it was the nicest she’s ever tasted! Compliments to the chef indeed.
Deserts, again were very, very nice indeed, I’d highly recommend the cheesecake myself.
We went on a Friday night, so as you can imagine it got busy, very busy. The restaurant itself is quite compact and a lot of tables have been put in here, so you do sit quite close to your fellow diners. It is close, but not close enough to become uncomfortable, there’s just enough space.
The staff are highly attentive and serve you quickly whenever anything is needed.
The food and drinks come quickly as well, you don’t have to wait long at all and all empty plates and glasses are cleared away quickly.
Even though your orders come swiftly and plates go as soon as they are empty, you never feel rushed at all and as stated, the staff are very helpful, professional, polite and always serve you with a smile, it’s simple things like that, that make dining here a must.
I’d highly recommend coming here if your craving good, hearty authentic Italian food.

Delicious Italian food, with attentive service and a pleasant ambience We dropped in, last minute, and were made to feel very welcome. As it was a week night, there were unbelievable offers on three course meals. We couldn’t help but indulge. Each of the three courses was delightful. We started with mouth-watering garlic bread, half cheese and half tomato. Then we had the paté of the house and calamari, both well-presented and delicious. For mains, we had pollo al pepe and a seafood linguine. The sauce for the chicken was sumptuous, especially good for dunking bread and chips! Pannacotta and salted caramel cheesecake were served for dessert and they were totally lush! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and couldn’t fault a thing. What a lovely little find, we’ll definitely be back. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!
