Nice restaurant slash bar first time here very very good food! The outside seating had lights all around with lots of seating. The staff was friendly and had beautiful pictures on the walls. This area is also very beautiful definitely check it out!

It’s an ok place to eat if you’re in a pinch but there are much better restaurants in Scotts Valley. The spaghetti is terrible and I would never order it again. Costco meatballs most likely with a mediocre sauce. Calamari was crispy and overcooked. The short rib dish however is very good. The staff is friendly. The ambiance is just so-so due to the location. There’s a 3% surcharge for credit card payments which is a bit annoying given the high prices. Most people prefer prices shown on a menu to be the actual price. Imagine paying 3% more for groceries if you used a credit card as payment. We have eaten at Casa Nostra in Ben Lomand and Scotts Valley several times in the past but it will likely be awhile before we return.

Had dinner there tonight with a friend who was celebrating a very special milestone birthday. Food was fabulous! I tried to order a “strawberry daiquiri”, which they do not serve, but Tracey (I think her name was) who was bar tending made me a drink similar to one. I was told if I didn’t care for it, I didn’t have to pay, so I said ok. OMGosh, it was BETTER than a strawberry daiquiri! I ordered a second one! Excellent food, excellent staff. Bravo!!!
