Social Profile:

Seafood & cocktails served in a laid-back restaurant with views of a lush garden, plus live music.

What a fantastic way to start the new year in Cozumel! Our group of 11 arrived about 30 minutes early for our reservation after shopping in town. Since the restaurant doesn’t open until 6:00 PM, our wonderful taxi driver, Antonio, recommended a tequila tasting spot right next door—and we’re so glad he did. We spent the extra time at Los Tres Toños, enjoying a fun and informative tequila tasting that set the perfect tone for the evening.
Once seated, we were welcomed onto the patio, surrounded by beautiful lush foliage that immediately made the experience feel special and relaxed. They prepared fresh pico de gallo and guacamole tableside, served with warm, crispy chips—such a great start.
Every entrée came with a delicious chicken lime soup and lightly toasted garlic bread, both full of flavor. Our table sampled a wide variety of dishes, including steak fajitas, shrimp fajitas, a seafood platter, lobster, the Mexican sampler plate, filet mignon, and for dessert, coconut and chocolate ice cream along with flan. One member of our group ordered the “sexy coffee,” a flambé-style drink prepared tableside—and between the flames and presentation alone, it looked absolutely worth ordering.
The service truly stood out—attentive, friendly, and seamless. Plates were cleared promptly, beverages were constantly refilled, and every question about the menu was answered thoroughly and kindly. The property itself is stunning, with lush gardens that create a peaceful, inviting atmosphere. And as a bonus, the friendly patio dog, Henry, kept us company and completely stole our hearts.
From start to finish, this was an exceptional dining experience. Incredible food, outstanding service, and a gorgeous setting—this restaurant is an absolute must when visiting Cozumel. ✨

We booked this restaurant based on online reviews expecting it to be excellent. The food – I’ve had better in Mexico, even some of the street food in Mexico has been better than this. However, I feel then seem to cater more for the foreign tourist market, so have altered the menu for that customer Base. For me the actual house/location was the best bit about it, as it is a former colonial type house that is still decorated in such a lovely way.

If I was in the area again, I would probably find a more local place, as we passed a few others that we nearby or on the way.

It was highly recommended by a guy from Ohio I should’ve known he can’t possibly know Mexican food….He said it’s authentic Mexican food – it’s not. It’s tourist oriented, more American than Mexican. Not enough flavor, not enough spice. Best there is the margarita and the guacamole with chips – which you can get downtown, as fresh and as good and at good price. I do not recommend this place, we walked two miles to get there and was disappointed. Not many taco choices and mostly chicken, shrimp and lobster dishes. Luckily we found a taxi to come back to port!

This restaurant is a total delight. The perfect combination of ambiance, service, food and price. With the addition of avocado and pico, the shrimp cocktail became a culinary WOW moment, easily the best I’ve ever had. The coconut crusted grouper was outstanding and a generous portion, enough for two. The lime soup was delicious. Drinks were well made and strong. Multiple staff for each table runs like clockwork. The facilities and grounds are beautiful, with an Old World vibe, ie, a place where you’d like to spend the day. The surprise was the excellent strolling musicians who took requests. Normally, I like to eat authentic food where the locals eat so I’ve been avoiding Casa Mission for many years. (I thought it was a cheesy tourist trap or like something you’d find in Disney Epcot). That was a massive mistake on my part. Casa Mission was GREAT so I guess that makes me a Cheesy Tourist. I can’t wait to go back, which is my highest compliment.

What a great restaurant! Such a wonderful meal; flavorful and delicious. Authentic and what a beautiful setting. Service is great and live music was a great plus. Nice restaurant for a special occasion or just because. Dress up or not, but it’s a lovely place! Definitely coming back and you won’t regret trying it!

Every time visiting Cozumel we make sure to have at least one dinner at Casa Mission. The ceviche is delicious and the complimentary lime soup is a wonderful addition to our meals.

Excellent place to avoid the nonsense high density tourist areas. Nice chill spot to grab some high quality food and take in some cool architecture and sights. Paying took quite a long time and our taxi was waiting outside thinking we bailed on him. I think it took 30min to pay. I highly recommend the Caesar salad, he makes it right in front of you.

We have been to Casa Mission several times over the years. It seams to stay the same for the most part. During this visit at the last minute it was discovered that we were in a rush to get the next ferry back to the main land. They jumped right up too the task and got us right to the boat in about 20 minutes. So good food good service and good prices. Good luck and have fun.

Wonderful service and atmosphere at Casa Mission, same as it was when previously visited Cozumel several times over the past ten years. The fish filet (grouper) veracruz was very good as well as the stuffed pepper.

Okay honestly I don’t get the positive opinions for this place.
Straight away – the staff was very nice and spoke good English. The place has it’s own charm.

But the food – was sooo expensive, especially for it’s very mediocre quality. It was simple and bland. Like the food you throw into the air fryer on Thursday evening when you’re tired after work.
