I had the Strada Susina pizza with just the gorgonzola sauce, not the tomato sauce, and it was fantastic.
The DiFarro style pizza tasted more like a frozen Naples wannabe pizza, with a weirdly sweet, puffy crust & sweet tomato sauce.
The meat filling saved my ravioli, balancing out the sweetness of the tomato sauce.
My husband ordered extra tomato sauce on the side to go with his meatball sub, then had to doctor it with added salt & pepper. Again, too sweet. The rolls used weren’t proper NY hoagies that we’re used to.
Salads were average, Caesar a generic creamy.
But our server was very personable & eager to please.
My husband, son, and I were starving after a long day of travel by the time we got there, so it was either C/O pizza not eat it and leave or just eating it bc we were so hungry and not say anything.
The bread was flavorless, crust hard as a rock with no sauce. Not apealing to the eyes, to say the least. Not only that, we were served small saucers for our food.
50$ for one pizza and 2 ciders.
The server seemed rushed. He was the only person i had seen on the floor with multiple tables occupied.
I fell for the 4.6 review on here, and it was a huge mistake. I will change my review if i can speak to a manager, and then i can give more detail.
On our recent business travel we were fortunate enough to be staing right around the corner from this Casa Mia location and had an absolutely wonderful relaxing dinner.
Food was exceptional as expected. The quality of the ingredients used always have great flavors, wonderful wines and perfect welcoming friendly service.
The shrimp salad has always been my go-to and I have to say it’s probably one of the best salads I’ve had in my life. It’s delicious with shrimp and the taste is pretty simple and perfectly paired with the simple toppings. I’ve probably had that salad 50+ times over the years.
We suggest Casa Mia with great confidence (and jealousy) 🙂
Another person had minestrone soup and the small ravioli. He liked the soup and the ravioli.
The third person had the lasagna and liked it despite the cheese that she felt like she was fighting with. The positive side was the fact that there WAS a lot of cheese.
All in all a positive experience. Not sure I will be back.
