While in town for just a few days we drove past this little restaurant and noticed the outdoor seating which was perfect for our dog. We had an early dinner, my husband went in to order and saw the Caldo De Res. They gave him a small tasting bowl to sample and it was delicious! He ordered that for his lunch and I had the Quesa Birria with a side of rice and refried beans. The food was very authentic and so delicious, fresh and homemade. My husband also had the horchata, which was also delicious, not too sweet and also authentic. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food. We sat outside and enjoyed our meal, the weather was perfect and we were able to have our dog with us. The service was great, the owner even came out to ask if we were enjoying our meal. We would return if we are in the area again!

Everything we tried was amazing! Highly recommend! Of all the taco places in the tri-county area, they have the best homemade corn tortillas, and the red hot sauce was on point! Can’t wait to go back on a weekend for tamales and menudo

This place is authentic, when I walked in and could smell that distinct mercado butcher scent I knew I was in for a treat. The torta cubana was amazing and huge. Sprinkle some of the hot sauce from the red ketchup squeeze bottle and I was in heaven. Will def be back!

We visit Brevard from Texas and this is the place we make it a point to visit each time we come into town. They have never disappointed. We love to order tacos a la carte. On today’s visit we ordered chicken, carne asada, pastor, and the three birria taco plate. We were surprised to see that it was still open and not closed for business as we were informed that it had closed down and was converted into an urgent care center. That’s not the case. It must have been mistaken for another Mexican restaurant. We will continue to visit as long as it is standing. Highly recommended!

Service isn’t great but the food is! They use handmade corn tortillas, which were fire! The food is authentic, very tasty, simple, and delicious. We grabbed food to go, so i didn’t get pics, but we were very happy with the food. The gentleman servicing us was a little cold, but not bad. There’s seating inside but not a TON of space, it’s pretty tiny. The vibes are strong and it’s cozy and cool

Delicious tacos! I had two chicken and one carnitas. The chicken was juicy and I liked the seasoning. The carnitas was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, as it should be, without being greasy. I also had two sides of rice which were good. The side order of rice is small and I had just finished a MTB ride and was hungry. The tacos had a good amount of meat for the price.

I moved to the area about 6 years ago. I had been searching for my go to taco spot until this place opened. This is it! This is the place I have been searching for. The pastor and chorizo is cooked perfectly. Just how I like it. A little crispy without being overcooked. This time I got chicken and pastor. The plantains are great as well. The refried beans are good but too runny for my taste. I really want to try other items on the menu but the tacos are just too good. The two hot sauces they offer are a perfect addition. Lots of flavor and the right amount of heat.

I’ve been to Mexico many times, and this is still the best chorizo taco I’ve ever had.

So far I’ve only tried the quesadillas because they are SO GOOD it’s really hard to not get them. The other patrons meals look delicious and I can’t wait to try more! The little grocery attached is perfect for picking up the few things you need for tomorrow while you wait for your take-out.

A great little spot tucked away not far from downtown Brevard. Authentic food with a small food store connected next door. Cozy interior seating limited on rainy days. Outside picnic tables for additional seating when the weather cooperates. For a small taqueria I’d definitely eat here when in town and would be a good staple if we lived closer. Reasonably priced and friendly staff make it feel like you’re right at home. Enjoy cheers!!
