Very disappointed. Husband got the sampler some didn’t have anything inside one of the tacos. Very dry Pico guess somebody did not want to be at work today. Just wow is all I can say. Never buying here again

The little short guy was rude. I walked in and they just stared at me. I asked if I could place a to go order, he said what do you want. Not do you need a menu or what can I get you? After paying, he didn’t say a word, I asked how long 10 minutes. Looking in his phone, head down, he answered yep. Never once looked up. I only stopped here because I didn’t know how the top of Kiehl & 107 was to drive to Senor Tequila. I won’t be back.

This Mexican restaurant has been located here for years and one is most always able to get a seat and be served quickly. Maybe not most always, maybe always. Lots of room here and a huge bar area. Wonder if they still have a band playing on one night a week?? Oops, I digress.
Today I tried this wonderful entree which was three to a plate birrias tacos loaded with a delicious brisket steak, melted white cheese, and onions. Served with a sauce that matches any good chef’s stock I’ve ever had. I asked the server what it was when I saw it on the menu and he said, “Very good.” So I ordered it.
If you’re wondering what a birria is, I looked it up.
“Modern birria is typically made with beef — it has a rich, familiar taste that blends perfectly with the traditional flavors of the spicy, umami-forward adobo and consomé. Beef also softens wonderfully when you slow cook it, and it shreds nicely, making it ideal for use in tacos.”
Simple but extraordinary! And he was correct, it was very good.

Their frying oil was way past changing. Almost rancid. The chips were particularly bad. Even the salsa couldn’t cover it up. Their quesadilla was nothing more than a limp taco chicken sandwich. The server did not understand enough English to bring one of our table guest the correct order. They had no one managing the front door to keep the fridged blasts of cold air from making all guest uncomfortable every time some one entered and exited.

Excellent portions for the prices. Great family atmosphere and great service! Spanish rice and beef tacos were excellent, as were the chips and salsa. Lunch menu available and the capacity to serve large groups and parties is available.

Prompt service, great hospitality. I went for a company party and the service was amazing. We were seated, and orders were taken immediately. Margaritas were exceptionally good. They serve beer buy the pitcher / beer mug . I would definitely recommend this establishment for nights out and small gatherings.
