Are you interested in a restaurant with beautiful aesthetics ? Well Casa Matilda is the place because that’s All they have going for them. Was seated at a table and actually had to wait 42 minutes just for someone to offer us water. This is after I raised my concerns with an unprofessional looking hostess that gave me an attitude and cut her eyes at me. Finally got drinks and food and nothing was seasoned. Even had to return the steak because I asked for medium well and it was rare. That shrimp pasta in the pics is terrible and the sliders were flavorless as well. So bad food and rude service. Place was barely at 50% capacity and I had to endure this uncouth service.

Went for Tulum n Miami event. Aesthetics are gorgeous. I loved the food it was flavorful. Need a few more servers. I loved that it was black owned high end chic vibes. It was a great Sunday putting. Would return during dinner.

We just stopped in for cocktails. The bartender was great and very knowledgeable. We had one of the specialty cocktails Death by Corn, fantastic. It featured a Mexican Corn Liquor. Beautiful bar and restaurant would definitely recommend

Casa Matilda was an absolute gem! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The food? Simply unforgettable. The guacamole with caviar was a bold and luxurious twist—creamy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ribeye was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, while the branzino was light, flavorful, and incredibly fresh.
But what truly elevated the night was the service. Eliel, Georgie and Andrea went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do—they made us feel right at home.

Had a team dinner at Casa Matilda and was very impressed with the entire place. It was Art week and the restaurant had an engagement for charity so the place was packed. Luckily we had an early dinner and was able to chat prior to all of the happenings. I absolutely love the decor and the entire vibe of the place. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about then menu and gave us an overview of all they were out of. Which was quite a few things but it didn’t take away from my team eating really good. We ordered an assortment of apps like, octopus, tuna tartare, duck tacos watermelon and feta salad, tomato salad. The octopus was the best I’ve had in a long time. And they were nice big pieces. Everyone ordered different entrees and no complaints. I had the lamb chops, delicious but small and I am assuming they were organic. The branzino was amazing and a large portion, skirt steak very good, the filet mignon also very good. Enchiladas also very good. Not one complaint from anyone: I would eat here again without a doubt.

This place is gorgeous! The atmosphere and service here was top notch for sure! I’m not sure the food along with the price they bring is up to the same level. And maybe it was just what I ordered, I got the half chicken and it was just decent. Actually the sliders we had before the main course were better. Anyway I would give it another shot and get a steak instead, but you know I was just trying something different.
Oh and they tell you the sides are sharable, but I disagree.

We spent Valentine’s Day at Casa Matilda’s and it was fantastic! The ceviche was the best I ever had and the risotto rice was scrumptious! I would have liked the portion sizes to be a little more generous. The restaurant is beautiful! Can’t wait to return!

I regret choosing Casa Matilda for our valentines diner celebration our first Red flag was the valet parking service! We parked next to the umbrella but no one was there to park the car. We went inside and they told us to go back outside to wait for the driver that he was probably picking someone’s car. So I went outside and my wife went to our table, I waited for about 7 minutes until shows up then he told me it’s $25 Dollars, cash? Or Zelle to me but have to be right now! I told him I usually pay on my way out and he said no, you pay first here. Then I went inside to meet my wife and at the very beginning everything was looking good, they were bringing our drinks and appetizers with a good timing but after we finished eating our appetizers we began to the people from other tables complaining about the service, the food and others because they were feeling neglected and as soon as I noticed all that I told my wife, I hope we don’t get a bad experience here tonight like those people! And we ended up being neglected as well. Our waitresses were going everywhere and spending most of the time near the bar doing who knows what but clearly she forgot about us and she was not the only one doing it, I saw their manager running like a chicken going from table to table talking to like five different tables, they all complained about something last night on Valentine’s Day. This restaurant needs a whole bunch of new stuff because the people working last night, all of them were just doing a terrible job, neglecting customers, bringing the food super late and they couldn’t read the body language of the people seated bored and waiting for someone to come over. This restaurant needs implement a better system because they don’t know what they are doing and specifically on a night that was very important for all of us eating there on Valentine’s Day. They need more valet drivers, they need a person to coordinate and watch over all the waitresses and waiters so they won’t neglect anyone and also to make sure customers are getting a good service CONSISTENTLY! We are Very,Very Disappointed and this restaurant is now on my Not to Go List! This restaurant looks beautiful decorated but when the service is horrible in general, no decoration or music will make things better. One start review is what this restaurant gets from us! I wrote this review on the next day after Valentine’s and it looks like no one from casa Matilda cares enough about their relationship with their customers red flags

I had the pleasure of eating at Casa Matilda’s this past weekend. The food was excellent! It was so good, I went back the following day. I had the fried whole fish, and it was cooked perfectly. We had most of the appetizers on the menu. The food was very flavorful. The service was outstanding and our waiter was so attentive. The ambiance was beautiful, I felt like I was in another country! Overall, this was an incredible dining experience. One of the best I’ve ever had! This is a must try in Miami.

This place was truly a vibe and a wonderful experience for me and my family have a very fancy dinner. The ambience is nicely, dim lit beautiful decor, and we came at the perfect time for a nice quiet dinner to where we had, what felt like, the restaurant all to ourselves. But if you looking for something a little lively this restaurant also has that too. Because as we were finishing dinner, it started to get jumping lol. The food was amazing, The staff were extremely helpful, courteous and pleasant. I will definitely make my way back to Casa Matilda for food and drinks will recommend to.
