Casa Masa delivers an authentic traditional Mexican food experience like no other in the area. They have perfected the right combination of quality food, delicious colorful flavors and friendly fast service. Everything we ordered was amazing and delicious. I would certainly put this on my top 5 for dining out. And the beer was nice and cold. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, the vibes were amazing. The food was beyond incredible everything came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The drinks were just as impressive, so good and beautifully prepared!
But what truly made our experience unforgettable was Lory. She gave us the BEST service. So friendly, attentive, and vibrant her personality completely lit up our table. She made us feel so welcomed and taken care of the entire time.
We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this spot, and if you get Lory as your server, you’re in for an amazing experience!

If you’re on the hunt for bold flavors, satisfying and refreshing drinks, and a place that just feels like your new go-to, Casa Masa checks all the boxes and then some. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and an upbeat, welcoming vibe. The atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming—think rustic charm meets vibrant, festive energy. Perfect for a casual lunch spot, a night out, or even a spontaneous margarita fix.
Let’s talk about the food: absolutely delicious. The chips came out warm and crisp, paired with fresh salsa that had just the right amount of kick. Every dish that hit the table was packed with flavor and clearly made with care. Portions are generous, so come hungry or plan to leave with leftovers.
And the drinks? Top-tier. We came on Margarita Monday! Their margaritas are strong, well-balanced. The bartender definitely knew what she was doing.
What really sealed the deal for us was the staff. Attentive, friendly, and genuinely excited about the food they’re serving—it makes all the difference. You can tell there’s pride in the service and a real desire to make your experience memorable.
Highly recommend—i was already planning my comeback before leaving.

I’ve been here any times and love it every time. Gluten free option chips, dips and quesadillas all gluten free.

First time here and it was nice. We had a nice waitress/bartender and she was delightful. The food was good I had the birria tacos and my husband the carne asada. Though mine was good he wished they used cheese that was melted but he got another type of cheese. So he thought it was okay. But for a not traditional Mexican restaurant it was nice and viby. Would come back, they add there twist to the food which is pretty interesting.

Always a great meal here. The tacos are great. The best thing are the super fresh and hot chips with great slat chunks. And the queso to pair with that. Never had a bad meal here in the many times I’ve come here. Lorie is very great! Always happy, smiling and offering over the top service here!

Man this place is great. Fresh blue corn tortillas made in house which are then fried to go with the fabulous pico de gallo. They bring a tray of three homemade hot sauces out for you as well. The hot one was a fresh orange habanero sauce that was really bright and wonderful. The burritos are massive. My pork Al pastor was cooked perfection. We are definitely coming back here.

Really cool little place. Unique menu – things I’ve certainly never seen on a menu. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated the options here. A sweet potato taco and brussels without bacon – it was delicious. The bartender was nice, too.

Read the whole review for anyone reading- absolutely the most terrible form of Mexican food we have ever had. 3 of us were out to dinner, all of us have had tons of different Mexican food dishes from several different states. I personally grew up with a family from Guadalajara. So used to authentic Mexican food my whole life. This place is absolutely horrible. Servers could tell none of us liked our food. Never offered us anything except a different entree. Why would we pay for something else when all of us hated what we had???? Nothing comped on there part. We don’t care about that really. I assume this is a 1 time go to for tourists and never go back. Unfortunately Sarasota is a huge for tourism so this establishment will probably last If you have ever had even decent Mexican food DO NOT waste your time even driving there. I won’t even complain about the drinks because they were just as much of a joke as the food. Heed my advice as far as Mexican food goes- don’t waste your time and especially your money. $7-$8 for a terrible taco. What a joke.
