Sarita, the owner has been a restaurant owner since 2005 in the South of Bakersfield in her previous building named Las Adelitas Family Restaurant. Gave this place a try after new ownership and let me tell you it was great. Great food, good taste. We tried the steaks with rice and beans, with some shrimp handmade corn tortillas and it was good. Our server and bartender gave us a good hospitality and we’ll made delicious drinks. We were very pleased and will definitely come back again. Thanks to Angel and the cook. Awesome dinner.

The Golden Cabin Mexican Restaurant is under new ownership and they have got all the elements just right: rood, drinks, atmosphere, staff and location.
The atmosphere is very cozy: dim lighting, low background noise, hanging stained glass lamp.
The food ishes are incredibly delicious. They don’t taste like they have a bunch of salt and fat. The guacamole is made fresh. The restaurant features regular and vegetarian options.
There is plenty of parking in the buildings parking lot.
The staff is incredibly nice, and can answer any menu questions you may have.
I highly recommend this family owned business.

Unless we went into another restaurant by mistake. It’s not called Golden cabin.
It’s called CASA MARIACHI.
As soon as you enter, the place felt welcoming with the tables set up celebrating Mother’s Day with a Ballon on each table.
For starters the chips and salsa are homemade and the flavor was AMAZINGLY delicious.
My wife ordered green CHILAQUILES that she enjoyed very much with two over easy eggs, refried beans and rice (I kinda helped her with the rice because I like rice alot). I ordered beef birrria. It had plenty of meat and the plate was big enough that I couldn’t finish it.
Anytime we are back in the area of Bakersfield we’ll come back and try something else.

The best Mexican food I have ever had in my life. I had the molcajete with shrimp, chicken and steak in addition to birria taco with soup broth for dipping. Absolutely phenomenal!

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food look no more. Our first time here with the fam for breakfast I got chicharrones con huevo on point. My son got some pancakes with egg he loved them. We choose this spot since it said it has live Mariachi but it didn’t. At the end it is what it is.
It’s under new management not sure if that’s one of the reasons.

The food was absolutely fabulous. The homemade tortillas and everything like that.
However it’s disappointing when you have to ask for silverware once your food has been served already.
We had to keep flagging down to get any additional drinks.
The birra was absolutely perfect.
The rice and beans were flawless.
The food is 100% on point.
Everything tasted great.
Just wish they would work a little bit on their service and I shouldn’t have to wave down for the check when it’s not even busy and then wait another 20 minutes or longer to be able to pay and leave.

Went in around 10:45am for a breakfast burrito de machaca. Authentic Mexican food burrito was delicious made fresh, chips and salsa were fresh. The staff in here was very nice and welcoming definitely recommend
