Great food, service, atmosphere. Spacious inside, plenty of things on the menu. Salsa and cheese dip good too!

This garden city location was great and the customer service was outstanding. I had the flamingo dinner and it did not disappoint. The shrimp with chorizo and cheese was delicious and probably the best food I have had in a long time. I would definitely recommend getting it

I’m not sure if I just came on an off day or what from all these 5 star reviews. Came in on a Saturday around 1ish. Got seated right away. It was pretty loud and hard to hear the waiter. Ordered drinks and while the prices were low, the drinks were just ok. Had to ask for a straw. My drink was in a cracked hurricane glass and the straw was too short, the husband has a short glass and his straw was the same and stuck out a good 4-5 inches (pretty funny).

I was excited to see a full page or enchiladas! I got the Garden city enchiladas and husband got the taquitos. His came out a good 5 minutes before mine and were cold. Once I got my fajitas there were no tortillas (another 5 minutes to get those). I don’t know if it’s a Kansas thing but I’ve never had rice with peas, carrots, and corn before. There was little to no seasoning and while the portions were good felt it was expensive. The servers try and are friendly but I definitely think there are better Mexican resin Garden City.

Food and drinks were amazing. We decided to make a dinner stop on our way back home to Colorado and was running through Garden City and we usually try to eat at local places on our travels. This place was absolutely worth the stop. Whether you are a local, or for whatever reason you find yourself in Garden City, stop in. Services was spectacular and wonderful atmosphere.

Service depends on who you get, most of them are great. Food is high quality and plenty of it, never seen this place have a long wait to get seated. Underappreciated gem if you ask me.

My party got a starter of guacamole and they brought out chips and salsa for us. The salsa was a bit spicy for me but I have a low tolerance and the guacamole was definitely tasty! One of my party got the ceviche and loved it! I got a combo #1 which was 2 enchiladas, a taco, and rice. I got ground beef for the meat and asked for the white queso for my enchilada. It was all delicious!! I love that they use veggies in their rice because I think it gives it more flavor. I couldn’t finish mine but it was tasty and I wanted to finish it. We were going to ask for the check but we decided to order their churros and boy were we blown away! They were so wonderful!! They’re chocolate churros and they add dollops of whipped cream and put fresh strawberry slices on top! It was heaven!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful! We ate around 1:30pm but there were at least 6 other tables and he was the only waiter. He did a fantastic job though because we always had what we wanted and never had to wait much for anything. The bus girl was working really hard too since she was the only busser. When we went, Garden City had had quite a storm and it was flooded all around. Unfortunately that included this place and so they couldn’t use the downstairs room but it was all being taken care of and we only knew because you see fans when you walk up the steps. We were so impressed with the place, by the waiter, and by the chefs because they got done what needed to be done quite quickly! I highly suggest it here!!

I loved this place! The staff is welcoming from first step in the restaurant. The food was delicious! They have a great variety from burritos to meat combo plates to seaffood. The prices, awesome! Most restaurants I have been too are very pricy for families. Not here.
The menu is about 6 pages!! The wait time was not long at all. Would highly recommend.
They get my first 5 star review.

I’ve had better experiences here in the past. My tamal had a hair in it as you can see in the photo.

The servers started to put up chairs as customers were still eating their meals. I understand you want to go home but it was 10:20pm and the closing time is 11:00pm, which I found extremely rude. I would have said something about the hair but at this point I just wanted to leave to not cause any more inconveniences.

The service was quick both times me and my family visited, they were friendly and knowledgeable enough about their products. I ordered the Flamingo dish both times because I loved it.
Only had one family member each time not completely content with their food otherwise the overall agreement was that it was good, salsa is okay usually needs salt. The enchilada sauce isn’t really a red sauce it’s more like mole in consistency and not all that flavorful. Honestly I think their food has improved a lot from what it was back when their business was on Fulton. Prices are, decent, about average to high as all places seem to be nowadays. The average plate I’d say is about $15. Drink prices were actually solid but they did have a week of specials for beer and margaritas.
The restaurant is nice and clean when we went, as were the restrooms which is always an absolute +. Keep in mind though both times we went it wasn’t super busy, probably less than average. I’d say this restaurant is kid friendly as well.
All in all I will continue to visit for the drinks seafood and service alone.
