Even our first time was very exceptional. And my Wife and went for Valentine’s Day Celebration. I must say, you need to go here. The atmosphere, decor and service was top notch. It felt so romantic and brought the love into the restaurant. Everyone was happy, from Bartender, servers to even bus boys. My Wife was so happy and it brought joy to our hearts seeing so many people there and sharing this time together. We ordered the Taco Tray and it didnt disappoint. It was so delicious and tacos melted in your mouth. I lost count how many I ate. Then the included desert was delicious. Then the churro cart put an explanation mark on the evening. I would highly recommend visiting and trying their food. Its such a wonderful experience. My only bad take away is parking. But you quickly forget once your inside.

We booked weeks in advance for Valentine’s night. $80 charge to book table, but included 2 drinks, floral arrangement and dessert. We ordered the taco platter and loved it! The barbacoa and bistec tacos were the best! Taylor was our waiter and he was very attentive and kind. All the staff helped in taking our photos throughout the night. The music was great too with a variety of music genres. The parking lot was tight and limited in spaces, but we were able to find a parking. We traveled from Dallas and felt the experience was amazing! Overall Casa Maria was worth the visit especially on a night like Valentine’s Day. We paid $210 (with tip) total for the pre booking and dinner/dessert.

Took the trip from San Antonio to San Marcos to experience Casa Maria with my wife, and it was well worth the trip and then some.
Taco Bout Love (taco platter in a heart) was very well put together and everything was delicious. Not just a gimmick thankfully.
Service was great, staff was friendly. Plenty of spots for selfies and group pictures for the family and for you and your loved one.
The churro cart was also an experience complete with a dozen churros, 3 sauces and a sparkler so you know it’s a big deal, little kids and big kids will love it for sure.
Definitely worth checking out and will come back too!

I been coming here since 2018 and Casa Maria in San Marcos does not disappoint!! It is truly amazing to see this restaurant grow in many ways! Their food is delicious, the atmosphere is pleasing and the service is always amazing! I will be coming back again and again. I will also say that I did a special event in 2023 for my first daughter baptism and the service was amazing! I absolutely love casa Maria and if anyone is looking to host a small special event dinner for the family, Casa Maria San Marcos is the place!! They decorated for me as well and it was perfect!

This place is great, I’m so grateful it’s so close to my home. The parking lot is always busy which I took as a good sign. Their tortilla soup on a cold night is perfection. Their margaritas and queso on the patio is fantastic for a warm day. Our latest visit we had Lili as our waitress and she was a gem. The decor is upscale and they are always decorated for the holidays which I love! We will be returning soon!

We sat at the bar enjoying fabulous cocktails, fresh, crisp chips and chunky, delicious, homestyle salsa rojo. The subdued, well placed lighting, creates a welcoming and cozy ambiance. Bartenders and waitstaff are very professional and courteous. Later we ordered Tortilla Soup. The rich, savory broth was a delight, with tender chicken, a creamy base, and perfectly fried tortilla strips adding a satisfying crunch that balanced the smooth, rich flavors. This experience was a symphony of sights, and tastes, where a delicious, comforting bowl of soup felt like a special treat in an extraordinary setting. We are looking forward to returning here again to experience more food and cocktail options..

Huge, classy Mexican restaurant with comfortable seating and friendly staff.
They have a large front room with bar, an extended side room with more booths and tables, as well as a private dining room and a front patio.
I enjoyed the nachos and the enchilada combo plate, especially their mole sauce.
They have a large free parking lot to the side and free street parking nearby.

Food was absolutely delicious. The beans and rice were actually great, and I seldom say that. The mole was also pretty good. My family enjoyed their tacos, pancakes, and enchiladas, and the chips and salsa were great.
Our server, Jasmine, looked like maybe she wasn’t having her best day. She didn’t seem to have many other tables that we could see, but we still had to ask for refills of drinks from other servers. Once the food came out, she disappeared.
But despite the off service, the food was def good enough to go back again.
