Since 1976, Casa Manana is honored to have you as our guests. We have been preparing only the freshest Mexican food for our guests. Every morning we cook a batch of salsa and fry crisp tortilla chips. We marinate our fajitas for a minimum of 24 hours to ensure the most tender product, and grill them to perfection! We base our business on “word-of-mouth”; therefore we take great pride in delivering award-winning quality and the highest standards around. The entire staff of Casa Manana wants you to have a great experience. We will do everything within our power to accommodate your every need. We hope you enjoy your visit and we look forward to serving you again!

However Kevin took the hit for it. I am so sorry for that.
I double tipped him and offered to pay for both Chimy’s. He again said he told the back that it was his fault for not understanding the order.
I was my fault.
I didn’t speak clearly enough. Thank you for Great Young men like this Kevin. Integrity! Well mannered! Great employee I’m sure. Thank you.
This place is great. The service is always prompt and attentive. I often get the baja fish tacos and they’re excellent. My fiancé loves their chicken (regular or firecracker) quesadillas. Their queso is pretty good and their salsa is decent. Our waiter was quick to refill our chips, so we never ran out. Their margaritas are tasty and fairly strong.
This week we chose Casa Manana Mexican Restaurant in Lake Charles. I normally write reviews for several corporate businesses when we travel but thought I would begin sharing our weekly dinner outings.
To be completely honest I have not eaten at Casa in over 2 years. I happen to reach out to a friend and learned that she was no longer at Outback and was now in management at Casa. (Dominique)
Knowing that 5 o’clock any day of the week could be busy. I reached out to Dominique to let her know that we would be coming. Our group of 7 were seated and our server was Isaiah. He was knowledgeable and happily gave stellar recommendations and ensured everything was perfect.
Whether you’re craving tender tamales, marvelous margaritas, sizzling fajitas, quesadillas or a great kid’s menu, Casa offered an excellent menu option with a wide range of traditional dishes.
Everyone ordered something different.
Tamale Dinner
Quesadillas (Shrimp, Beef, Firecracker)
Taco Salad (Fijita Chicken)
Kids (Cheese Quesadillas)
The food was fresh and delicious. The portions were generous and packed with flavor. The Tamale Dinner was flawless. The Quesadillas were delicious and flavorful just lacked in presentation. The Fajita Chicken on the Taco Salad was dry and crunchy. I asked Isaiah to take it back and let the kitchen staff know, so they were aware). Management came out and discussed the issue (Jared).
As a person who does reviews, I always try and let management know. Ranting about it afterwards does not give them the opportunity to address concerns with their kitchen staff.
Casa Manana has a family-friendly ambiance and is perfect for date nights or if you’re celebrating a special occasion. Casa Manana deserves a spot on your list of must-try restaurants. I look forward to returning for lunch with my daughter. Thank you to Management (Shane, Jared, and Dominique), I appreciate the fact that management made rounds during the evening checking on all the tables.
The cheese came out quickly. The food took about 25 minutes to come out. I asked her to bring our checks when the food was delivered. The food came out hot and we each got a few bites and got it to go. I had asked her why they had so many people coming in. She told me on Tuesday nights they host bingo. You have to buy at least one thing to play. That you win prizes. She said that it’s best to reserve seating and get there early secure your spot. I would have not gone to casa knowing this because we were supposed to be across the street for 6pm. We had assumed since it was so early that we would be in and out quickly. But, I definitely want to come try out bingo! Especially if my children could play also!
Great job on Casa for getting customers on Tuesday.
