We started with the Casa Guacamole. The avocado was fresh, the seasoning was light, and it was a very comfortable appetizer to ease into the meal.
Then we ordered the Piña del Paraíso—refreshing tropical fruit flavors that instantly put you in a better mood.
For the sweet dishes, we went with the Cinnamon Crunch French Toast and Mayan Pancakes.
The French toast had a slightly crispy exterior with a soft center, and the cinnamon flavor was perfectly balanced.
The pancakes were thick and hearty, satisfying without being too heavy—great for enjoying slowly.
The savory dishes were solid as well:
Caprese Omelette – light and not greasy.
Madera Burger – a really fresh, juicy beef burger served with fries .
Chicken Sandwich – made with spicy chicken and topped with a sunny-side-up egg, which I personally loved.
For cocktails , we tried the Noble Margarita and Spiritual, Not Religious. Both were on the refreshing side and didn’t overpower the food, making them great for pairing with brunch.
This spot offers modern, refined Mexican cuisine, blending brunch favorites, hearty mains, and creative cocktails .
The space is bright and stylish—perfect for a weekend lunch date, or for grabbing unique cocktails and catching up with friends in the evening.
Went during Dine LA week with my daughter and we had such a lovely experience. We each ordered different courses so we could try almost the entire menu (except the tacos), and everything was delicious.
The tuna tartare/timbale was my favorite — super fresh and full of flavor. The presentation of every dish was beautiful and felt very elevated.
What I enjoyed the most, though, was the atmosphere. It’s located inside the hotel, which makes it feel luxe, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed dinner or date night. The ambiance alone makes you want to stay and enjoy the evening.
Definitely a great spot for Dine LA and special occasions. Would come back!
We started with the ceviche, which was fresh and flavorful, and the hamachi with serrano, which was absolutely delicious. The guacamole was solid, and the black truffle burrata was rich and indulgent definitely a standout. We also tried a few tacos that were tasty and well prepared.
The chicken milanesa was just okay. While the grilled pineapple on the plate was yummy, the dish itself lacked flavor compared to everything else and wasn’t my favorite of the night.
Our waiter was very nice and attentive, and the service paired well with the lively yet intimate atmosphere. Overall, Casa Madera delivers on ambiance and most of the food a great place for cocktails, shared plates, and a fun night out, even if one dish missed the mark.
At the beginning, there was one unpleasant moment: although I had reserved a specific table on the terrace almost a week in advance, we were first offered to sit in a completely closed room with no people inside — apparently because we came with our 9-year-old daughter. I said that it wasn’t what I had booked, and fortunately, they moved us to the terrace as planned.
From that point on, everything was perfect — attentive and professional service, beautiful atmosphere, and truly delicious food. The design and vibe of this place deserve special attention.
I believe the restaurant’s relatively low rating is undeserved, as it’s often based only on prices. But a restaurant should always be evaluated as a whole: design, atmosphere, service, and food. And by all these criteria, Casa Madera is a solid 5/5.
Thank you for a wonderful evening! ✨
We ordered 2 bottles of tequila, spent over $2,000, and had a great time — until the end.
Right after I paid the bill, the security guards suddenly approached us and aggressively demanded that we leave immediately.
One of my friend was not feeling well and just needed to rest for a few minutes — yet the guards were rude, impatient, and even tried to physically push us out.
We were shocked. We were calm, respectful customers who had just spent a significant amount of money — yet we were treated like troublemakers.
This was absolutely unacceptable and humiliating.
No customer should ever be treated this way, especially in a place that claims to be “high-end.”
Casa Madera, your staff needs serious retraining — respect and empathy should never be optional.
