It’s not authentic Mexican, definitely a Tex-mex place. Which I love. Food was hot and fresh. Server was super sweet. Decor/atmosphere was adorable.

Food:
I ordered the veggie bowl, which had a good variety of vegetables and tasted great. However, the portion of black beans and white rice felt a bit less than expected. The major issue was finding a piece of steak in my bowl — a serious concern since I’m vegetarian. The staff offered to replace the dish, but I chose to remove the steak myself and continue eating, as I didn’t want them to throw away the entire bowl and create food waste. Still, this was an unacceptable experience and should not happen, especially with dietary preferences.
Service:
The service was responsive and courteous. They immediately offered to change the dish after I brought up the issue and also helped us move to an indoor table when the weather turned cold.
Ambience:
The outdoor seating area is lovely with a decent view, making it a pleasant option when the weather is nice. We moved indoors once it got chilly, and the inside space was comfortable as well.
Parking:
Plenty of free parking is available, which made the visit hassle-free.
Overall:
While the food was tasty and the service was good, the presence of meat in a vegetarian dish was extremely disappointing. I hope the restaurant takes extra care going forward to avoid such errors.

We’ve driven by Casa Lago Cantina a few times, and tonight we finally decided to give it a try. I’m glad we did – it’s such a hidden gem for Tilton! I got their house margarita, and it had a good amount of alcohol in it for a light buzz on a weeknight
I ultimately went with the Baja tacos – I got a mix of shrimp and fish. They were both very good, but the shrimp was sooo good that I was glad I went with the 2 shrimps/1 fish taco. We also grabbed a plate of the sopes Mexicano – these were very delicious, but very heavy if you’re looking for a lighter dinner. Also, if you like your food spicy, ask for the spicy salsa. It’s more like a spicy chili oil – highly recommend ️ ️
We had a lovely server who was so friendly and helpful. I’m definitely coming back and bringing more friends and family next time. 5/5 for me

Fantastic and authentic. We ordered the Quesabirria Tacos and the CasaLago Burrito, both were excellent and flavorful, and the margaritas were well portioned and delicious. The service was fast even on a busy Friday night, and all the staff were busy cleaning, checking tables, etc. They clearly take pride in their restaurant, which is great to see. The vibe of the decor is also very nice and worth noting.

Not a lot of options to eat near our Airbnb, but we were very happy we chose this restaurant for dinner. Street tacos were so good! Queso was delicious. Fresh squeezed limes in my drinks! Service was excellent! Definitely recommend. We will probably go back during this trip!

3rd time visiting. Service is always really inattentive . Servers are running around in an unorganized fashion. The bartender was our server instead of a dedicated person in our area. Empty drinks most of the meal. Have to continually ask for refills. Could have been a language barrier but it seemed like we were annoying the server. My chile rellenos tasted like they were microwaved and on the verge of gone bad. Overall I really dislike this place and will not return.

We visited here on opening day and the food was so good. We’ve gone back five times because the food is absolutely amazing now. The staff is friendly. And the drinks are strong. In summer, the outside seating is so awesome. I especially love the outdoor couches around the fire pit.

My wife and I just finished lunch at Casa Lago and it was fantastic. If you were looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place. This was our first time eating here and it will become a regular go to restaurant when we make trips to Tilton.

Gross. It’s gotten worse and worse and worse. From messed up orders, to incorrectly made food, to dry burnt fish, to overloaded sauce, to no sauce at all. It’s just plain bad. I’m done wasting my money here. I got fish tacos and could barely even chew them. Could not taste fish at all. I went to break open the fish nugget and it looked like that turkey the Griswold’s made in National Lampoons Christmas Family Vacation. Photo below to prove.

The first time we went, the food was great. This time it wasn’t.
My meal was very salty. My “nachos” were not really nachos. It was chicken and cheese on chips. The description didn’t list vegetables but bring nachos I thought it would be a given. My fault, I guess.
