About last night…Casa L’Acqua in Delray Beach, is the very definition of an Italian charming cucina. Tucked off the beaten path, sits a house full of Dolce Vita. The Risotto was creamy, luxurious and the tableside grated White Truffles, were the star of the show. Fresh, deboned Dover Sole was served with a brown butter lemon sauce, which made for a definite balance between rich & sweet. Herb crusted Rack of Lamb was fully robust, earthy and tender. We enjoyed the energy here of simply savoring life’s pleasures. Thank you to Giordana and the team for the welcoming, attentive and warm visit.

We celebrated our anniversary at Casa La Aqua this past weekend, and it was a standout experience. Even though it was a busy weekend, and did not have a reservation they seated us on the patio. This was a huge plus for us; while the inside was bustling and loud, the patio was quiet, quaint, and private—exactly the romantic vibe we were hoping for.
The food was incredibly impressive. You can really tell they use fresh, daily ingredients. The pasta is homemade, and the quality is obvious from the first bite—everything tasted so fresh and delicious.
A huge thank you to our server, Cecilia, who was amazing! She was incredibly friendly and detail-oriented, making sure our anniversary dinner went perfectly. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

This place is magical. Authentic, wholesome and cozy with exquisite Italian cuisine that tastes like home. From the moment you walk in, they treat you like family. A very special thank you to Cecilia (qué viva México) for giving us the royal treatment. And grazie mille to owner Giuseppe for such delicious treats and making us feel valued. Di sicuro torneremo. Casa L’Acqua is a top notch experience so don’t miss it.

Although the food and the service were excellent, it took us 20 minutes to be seated for a 515 reservation when there were tables available. The The manager kept telling us oh we will seat you soon, but it took a very long time and was frustrating with so many empty tables it sort of ruined the overall experience.
It was also my partner’s bday which they were aware of. Drinks at the bar or even a dessert on the house were not offered for the long wait. The front of the house at this restaurant needs some training to be considered as a fine dining experience. Their prices certainly reflect that!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at L’acqua, and it was an experience worth raving about. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance set the tone for a delightful evening—especially since we snagged a wonderful outdoor seat, perfectly complemented by the great weather. The real standout, however, was the impeccable service provided by our waitress, Cecilia. Her attentiveness, warmth, and knowledge of the menu elevated the entire meal.

Speaking of the food, I opted for the langostin, Kobe filet, and salada mista, and each dish was a masterpiece in its own right. The langostin was succulent and perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor that felt like a celebration of the sea. The Kobe filet, tender and rich, melted in my mouth with every bite—a true testament to the kitchen’s skill. The salada mista was a refreshing balance, with crisp greens and a light dressing that tied it all together beautifully.

L’acqua is a gem, blending exceptional cuisine with a welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to Cecilia’s outstanding service and the unforgettable flavors, I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We were there last night and were told by the hostess that our table would be ready shortly. About 20 minutes later, she came back out and said the same thing again. Eventually, we were seated in the back room, which was beautiful, warm, and very inviting.

Our server was excellent from the start, and we were greeted with warm bread and cheese, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, that’s where things began to go downhill.

We started with the Caesar salad, which was very bland. We were not asked if we wanted anchovies, and later found out they were an additional $3. Even with plenty of cheese, the salad lacked flavor.

For entrées, we had the chicken Parmesan, which was average at best, and one of the specials, halibut. I expected the special to be priced slightly higher than other menu items, but at $75 it was almost double the cost. While it was good, it certainly wasn’t great or memorable enough to justify the price. The spaghetti side tasted like canned sauce, which was disappointing.

We skipped dessert. I ordered a cappuccino, which was also underwhelming.

With all the hype surrounding this restaurant, I expected much more. The ambiance and service were strong, but the food simply did not meet my expectations. Because of that, I have to give it a low rating

this was my first time in this restaurant and I must say it should have a five star rating first it’s a very old house. It’s been remade into a three room restaurant very well appointed the food was delicious. They started you off with a basket of bread, complementary, and also pieces of Parmesan cheese and little round of bread with chopped tomatoes on them I had the salmon which was a nice center cut and it came with spinach. We also had chicken Parmesan delicious burrito salad, chicken Marcella. Everything was nice size good tasting well presented. Valet parking $10 available on site definitely make your reservations in advance. This restaurants always been hard to get reservations,. I see why and so will you?

I really try my best to avoid leaving bad reviews but this place was a really big disappointment and I want to try to help others avoid it.

My family and I have had our eye on this place for a while, and finally decided to book a reservation and were excited to try it out. It’s a house off of the Ave, converted into an upscale restaurant complete with a dress code that they make sure you know about. With that, we expected a really elevated experience. Which we did not get.

The seating is incredibly tight, with the indoor tables set right up against each other. Luckily the table next to us was only half full, so we had a bit of breathing room, but it was still very tight and uncomfortable being right up against the wall. We got there before the rush, and even then, the place was very loud, with voices echoing and amplifying.

The service was interesting. There were two women bringing in food, clearing plates, and filling waters, but the energy was frantic. They were quickly running around, even when the place was empty, bringing a frenetic energy when a more upscale place calls for a calmer atmosphere. They plopped down complimentary plates of cheese and bread and bruschetta without explanation, and quickly ran away. They then grabbed our half finished plates without asking if we were done.

I’m absolutely not one to complain about prices. I believe good food in a good place shouldn’t come cheap. Unfortunately, the cost here was just not worth it. We ordered two different kinds of veal, each for about $50. The portions were 3 small and thin pieces, overcooked and quite chewy, with nothing but a pretty delicious sauce. For the price, for just veal, I would have expected larger portions, or at least cooked properly.

I don’t know. Maybe we caught them on an awful night, but it really was a terrible experience all around. I wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend this place.

The food here is excellent. Being a snow bird we often dine here and always have a great meal. My issue is management related. While dining with out of town guests the specials were presented to us. I ordered the rack of lamb. To my surprise when the bill came, the dish was $150. Seriously? As not to embarrass my guests, I called the next day. After waiting 2 days or a manager to call back, they informed me there was a full or half order available. I’ve been to many fine dining restaurants where a meal is intended for 2, they tell you or it’s marked on the menu. Was never told that, nor were we told the price. That’s obnoxious and seems like a money grab. Management couldn’t care less and was very dismissive. Not, I’m sorry for the confusion, next tine your in your first round is on the house. Keep your customers happy or you won’t have any..

We were looking forward to coming here with all the great reviews unfortunately, this was not our experience. This was a birthday dinner, and although the ambience is very charming, we were seated at a table that was on the path to the bathrooms with a air-conditioning vent blowing straightener faces We asked them to move our table, but they could not accommodate, and they turned off the air for 15 minutes. We split Linguine and clams for an appetizer. We received Boccherini with tomato sauce. When we explained to the waiter that this is not what we ordered, he argued with us and told us we did order this! He only switched it out for linguine and clam sauce because I would not back down It was my birthday dinner and I did not want pasta with tomato sauce! We then order veal piccata, which was tender, but not a lot of flavor at all. I ordered bronze which I ordered almost everywhere I go.. This Brunini was very mushy and did not have a lot of flavor. They served it with a white sauce, visually un appealing. I asked if they could bring smuggler sauce which they had for another fish dish on the menu 15 minutes later I receive the same white sauce with chopped parsley on top. The waiter brings a cheesecake which we did not order. I try and tell him that, but he leaves the cheesecake and walks away. . My date and I assume that since we didn’t order this that it must be complementary because of the difficulties we had. But when we got the bill we were charged for it!! This was not a good experience my family owned restaurants in Little Italy. We would never treat customers this way!
