Hubby and I were searching for a restaurant that had Caldo de Res. This is one of the ones that popped up in the area. We said let’s try it..
Let me go back though, we were sat as soon as we arrived. The hostess was so nice. Our waitress was even nicer and so accommodating. Best service I’ve had in a while.
Hubby and I ordered the Caldo de Res. I also ordered a shredded beef hard taco. My brother ordered the 3 items combo which consisted of the most delicious beans, rice and 3 enchiladas.
The Caldo was hot, delicious and had alot of meat. The bowl of rice they brought to put in the caldo was alot. It is pricey but so worth it because its not a small plate and the caldo is very flavorful. The hard shell taco was also very good but the caldo supersedes that in flavor.
My brothers enchiladas were amazing. He got two shredded beef with red sauce and one chicken which comes with green sauce. He loved the chicken ones because the sauce had a hint of lemon which made it taste good. For me I tried his shredded beef ones and they were delicious. Also the enchiladas are pretty big. If you want enchiladas come hungry if you get 3. They do serve you alot off food.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back soon to try more deliciousness.
Oh and almost forgot we also got their in house made flan omg delicious. Definitely a must try.

The margaritas here are a must-try—perfectly balanced and refreshing, they pair wonderfully with the vibrant flavors of the food. We started with the taquitos, which were made fresh to order. They were crispy, flavorful, and served piping hot—exactly what you’d hope for in a perfect appetizer.
The real star of the show, though, was the molcajete. It was nothing short of amazing! The shrimp wrapped in bacon was tender and bursting with flavor, while the cactus, salsa, queso fresco, and avocado added a delightful mix of textures and tastes. Every bite felt like a celebration of authentic Mexican cuisine.
Casa Jimenez is more than just a meal; it’s an experience. If you’re looking for incredible food, fantastic drinks, and outstanding service highly recommend, it’s the go to Mexican restaurant in the area
My son and I ate comfortably with left overs for under $50.
