We been going to this restaurant for YEARS… great food .. staff knows us .. but there must have been a change in mgmt or something. Because what we experienced tonight, only makes sense. A family of 3 walked in and under her arm, carrying it like it was a new handbag or something was her DOG!!! not a service dog but just the family pet. Had it by table .. paws on table .. around multiple customers just there trying to eat, drink and enjoy their night.. how selfish of that lady.. and I KNOW it’s a health code violation of some sort.. the staff ended up telling her to put the dog in the car but she should have been stopped as soon as she entered.
Secondly, why are the children allowed to run around in circles in the restaurant.. i understand taking kids to work but if one of those kids run into someone.. or staff carrying hot food.. spills on customers.. I mean.. it make look like innocent playing around but as a business.. it’s a liability. I’m sad to say, today was probably our last dinner there. The lady and older gentleman.. great service always… Thank u

Casa Imperial is wonderful! This is one of the authentic Mexican restaurants I’ve found in Houston. I love the salsa and chips and you know when it’s real and tasty it’s the best. I also love the carne guisada and stuffed avocado. The charo beans and Spanish rice are delicious. I would tell you if the rice and beans are bad. These are just as good as mine. I’m really impressed with this meal and will come back.

A great hidden gem! Huge portions with great prices. The wait staff is never far away, ready with more chips and refills. Food is fresh and delicious ! The restaurant is very clean. The California burrito is so good and you will definitely have leftovers.

Delicious & fresh. We got the fajita for 3 to go. Half fajita and half chicken. It was definitely enough for 3. I think each plate could have been given a bit more rice, but otherwise, decent. Will be back!

I have been coming to this place for 10 plus years. It has always been exceptional service, great food and clean atmosphere. They have the best stuffed breaded jalapenos and margaritas. I’ve never had a bad time here.

Let me start this off by saying the new owners have kept all our old favs, and really stepped up the menu to some really good new platters too! Friday nights are awesome with drink specials and a DJ that JAMS!
Great date night or gals night out spot! Family owned and operated is what I love! Mom, Dad and daughter working together for their little place❤️ such a beautiful thing!
This is my FAVORITE new spot! The salsa is so good/Green & Red yum! I had the Acapulco dinner with Cheese enchiladas they are so good! The runny good cheese NOT the plastic orange cheese! The taco was so yummy, perfectly seasoned, and the tamales were tender and delish!
Husband had 3 tamale dinner, grandma had the 2 beef enchiladas again perfectly seasoned! Daughter had chicken quesadillas (they were tasty too I did steal one )
THE SERVICE WAS IMPECCABLE FROM MAGGIE
We will be back!!
Oh and don’t forget the Churro Cake
It’s like a Mexican brown sugar candy-but in a cake! It’s to die for!

The beef fajitas here are great, we ordered the serving for one and the stuffed chicken jalapenos, and the pomegranate margaritas. Super friendly service. We will be coming back the next time that we stop by our favorite mechanic right down the road!

This used to be my go to Mexican spot in the neighborhood. The quality has steadily gone downhill. The only reason they’re getting 2 stars is because the service is good.
I stopped in today, after not going for over a year. I ordered beef fajitas for one and a small chili con queso.
The queso had a burnt flavor to it. It was very thick and had a weird texture. I stirred it and saw 1 piece of on onion, no chilis in the queso.
The fajitas came out in record time. I’m talking 2-3 minutes. Seriously. The meat was well done, and the onions weren’t cooked. They threw a raw tomato slice on top for good measure. The meat did have a good flavor, but it was dry.
As fast as the order came out, and considering the meat was well done and onions were raw leads me to the conclusion that they keep the cooked meat on hand instead of cooking to order. And how do the onions not get cooked at all during the cooking of the meat? Sigh .
I think this was my last visit. I hope they get it together. There aren’t enough locally owned businesses in this area.

They are really consistent with to go orders and the price vs quality and quantity is very reasonable. One Jumbo Patron Margarita otr is all you need if you have some lime juice at home to make it a couple drinks. The green sauce last order was not as good as before.
