Modern Bird Travels
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Casa Honduras and was thoroughly impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and exceptional service. The menu showcased a delightful blend of traditional Honduran flavors with a modern twist, highlighting the chef’s creativity and skill.
The standout dish was the ‘Plato Tipico,’ a generous plow of tender grilled meats, beans, and fresh plantains that perfectly captured the essence of Honduran cuisine. The baleadas were also a highlight, with their crispy tortillas and rich fillings.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu offerings, ensuring a warm and informed dining experience. The restaurant’s decor added to the lively ambiance, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
Overall, Casa Honduras is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic, delicious Honduran cuisine in a welcoming setting. Highly recommended!

The snail soup in coconut milk was amazing! The grilled snail was not as impressive and it had a slight smell like if it was starting to go bad but i still ate it, did not complain about it and did not get sick afterwards. The plates are large enough to make anybody full!!! The service was nice and friendly, the place was not busy at all. Had a good time and good food ❤️

‼️‼️‼️Disappointing Experience – Overpriced and Underwhelming‼️‼️‼️‼️
I recently visited this establishment with my family, and I must say, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the service was lackluster at best. Our server seemed disinterested and inattentive, which set the tone for the rest of our meal.
To make matters worse, we were overcharged for several items on our bill. I couldn’t believe that they had the audacity to charge us $5 for a small side of extra onions! That’s just ridiculous and feels more like a money grab than a reasonable charge.
As for the food, it was nothing short of mediocre. My child’s hash brown was a soggy mess, completely soaked in oil and lacking any flavor. It was so unappetizing that my child didn’t even want to eat it. If you can’t get a simple hash brown right, then what hope is there for the rest of the menu?
Additionally, we noticed that the staff took the hot sauce bottle from our table without even asking if we were finished with it. It felt incredibly rude and left us scrambling to find someone to bring us another one.
Overall, this place is a far cry from a good dining experience. It reminded me of Honduras kitchen on its worst day – overpriced and disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying meal. Save your money and your time!

The food tastes very tasty, easy and safe on the stomach The way the food is prepared is beautiful. This is different from the special atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff treat the audience with respect. I recommend visiting this restaurant and trying the food here because it is very beautiful and deserves 5 stars. The atmosphere is also very beautiful and fabulous.

I took my mom out to eat here for lunch on her birthday and right away, the location was kinda sketch, a car stopped infron of us around the corner from the restaurant for the passenger to get off and tag a wall. As we entered the parking lot of the restaurant, the restaurant entrance wall was tagged up too right underneath where it says Casa Honduras. Then I noticed it said cash only but I still went inside to see if maybe they would take zelle or venmo and the waitress said had an ATM machine inside. We ordered our food and my moms pollo guisado con tajadas was pretty good however my plate, yucca con chicharron was terrible, my plate was nothing but yucca, some pieces were still hard and wordt of all, they literally gave me 4 small pieces of the regular chicharron that you would buy in a bag at any latino market, no meat whatsoever, and only 4 pieces!!!! Then the waitress never came by again to ask if we needed anything else or when we were done and wanted our check and a box to go we had to keep calling her over. In the end, if you dont mind going into the hood for the good pollo guisado with mediocre service, but excellent air-conditioning then check it out. Other than that, it was terrible! I overall do not recommend it!

Good food, friendly waitresses, family atmosphere. A plus if you speak Spanish, but not necessary. TV’s for soccer games as well.
