It was an online order so I didn’t actually get to check out the restaurant inside but when I received my food it was fresh hot amazing amazing it’s so good to have some authentic Mexican food I’m from California so I really really miss it but there’s just hit the spot and more I was so happy and amazed by the food I called back up to the restaurant just to thank them and let them know how wonderful everything was. And also their prices and portions are absolutely wonderful the prices are reasonable and the portions is very very good and plenty!

Our go-to Mexican restaurant in the area!
They have great Mexican food for the East Coast (and I say this as someone from Southern Colorado). The San José special and quesabirra tacos are some of my favorites. My wife also tried the fajitas the other day and the chicken was great! Almost wish I could have that chicken on the arroz con pollo.
Very kid friendly and reasonably priced as well.

Great atmosphere, superb service, but thought the food was so so. My wife actually Raves about this place so took my kids to dinner there one evening. It’s a pretty good size place with two different areas to sit in in a large outdoor covered patio. The decor was very crisp and colorful and the wait staff was super courteous and pretty Johnny on the spot. I ordered my normal chili relleno like I do at all new places I try, still looking for places that do not batter, unfortunately this place a dozen egg batter on the pepper. That’s typically not a big problem I just peel the egg batter off and then eat the pepper, but the filling in this one I had never tasted before. Kind of hard to explain it was almost like it was stale and overcooked. The rice was so dry I almost had to take a sip of my drink every time I took a fork full. The beans was almost like a soup and tasted a little off as well. My daughter and I didn’t really enjoy our meals, my son did though. He thought his tacos were fantastic. I’d be willing to give these guys another try, especially since my wife likes this place so much I think she says they have a really good cheese dip. But as a first impressions they were just okay.

I recently visited this Mexican restaurant and tried the chicken and shrimp fajita. The shrimp was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The chicken, however, was a bit too chewy for my taste, so next time I’ll probably stick with just the shrimp.
The service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and quick, which really enhanced the dining experience. I also have to give a shoutout to the nachos, salsa, and queso—they were phenomenal and definitely worth having as starters. Overall, a great spot with tasty food and excellent service.

This was our first time here, we usually go to mi Jalisco off oilville… but we were passing through Ashland tonight and wanted to give this a try since we live in Montpelier. It was a slow Sunday, a few dinners in the restaurant, so we were seated quickly. The waiter was ok, and attentive. The salsa and chips were bland and watery, hard stale chips. I went with the carne asada tacos (one corn shell not layered like I’m used to, the meat was very dry I had to put all the table salsa on it to even eat it . My son had beef tacos that were saturated in oil and fat… IT WAS ROUGH! My tacos came with rice and it wasn’t even edible. No flavor no veg nothing … I’d like to say we would be back but no. When the waiter brought the check and asked about the food, I was honest and he just said ok . And made recommendations after our meal. We will stick to the authentic spots.. this was not it sadly …the table and silverware were not clean either ..

Everything about this place is great I looooooove a good taco. Its not a traditional street taco but they were awesome. The service was on Q. The food came out so quick it was hard to believe.Im not from here but ill be back. They are pet friendly from what I seen. Outside a few dogs. Great Great place…..

I was traveling and got caught in a snowstorm. I was famished and decided to order from La Herradura. Even in the snowstorm, they delivered my food to me & my fiance so quickly. The food was fresh and so tasty. The alcoholic beverages were LARGE and made to perfection. I ordered a sweet drink with Passion Fruit and my fiance ordered a Mojito. I ordered the Steak Burrito in a bowl. Wow! Such a generous portion. It was AMAZING! My fiance ordered Fried Pickles. That was delicious! I placed my order on the phone and the lady who took my order was kind and patient with me as she explained the tastiness of the drinks! When I take my next road trip, I’ll definitely stop by but this time at the actual establishment. Well done!!
