For one, I can’t believe they charged $7.09 for two pieces of toast with cheese! I don’t mind places making a profit, but come on! 2 pieces of bread with maybe two tablespoons of cheese on it for over $7?!
The spaghetti, while a nice size is flavorless. I taste no salt, no garlic, and no spices whatsoever. There’s very minimal “meat” sauce on it and ONLY right in the middle of the dish. The “meat” in the meat sauce is in parentheses because it amounts to the one tiny clump of meat on my fork! That’s probably not even half of a tablespoon!
If half the noodles were removed, the noodle to sauce ratio MIGHT be a better balance. But as it is, I’m basically eating noodles with a minute amount of just sauce. Only once I get to the middle of the dish will I get a that one little chunk of meat and a thin blanket of cheese. Considering this cost $25 (that’s just with tax. Does NOT include tip or fees.) I feel extremely ripped off! I could’ve gotten more sauce and meat from Fazoli’s. Do better, Casa’s! If you’re going to charge people $25 don’t give me one tiny clump of meat and 2 pieces of toast!
We usually LOVE the salads. But $25 for 2 plates of crunchy water? No thanks.
Last Sunday, the chicken was again very dry, lacked flavor, rubbery skin, all the things you dont want chicken to be.
We’ll be back to give Casa’s another try, because we believe in the local legacy, but with the rising cost of food, sunday lunches and Saturday dinners, need to be better for those that are paying for it.
Called in carry out for 1 side salad, but she read the total as $11.66 & I said I thought they were like $4. I was told the mini is that price, but the small is what the order says, which feeds 1 to 2. Although it was OVER twice the price I went with, I thought I’d indeed receive a larger order portion. WRONG!
I have ordered the “mini” (what I call side) salad MANY times from this chain. It comes in the shown Styrofoam that I legit poured the ENTIRE contents of this container I received as the “small”.
I have never ever felt so cheated and disrespected $11.66 for what I could have gotten (exact same size with bread & butter) for $4. Outrageous!
Layers of eggplant, meat sauce and blended Italian cheeses baked to perfection. We’ll prepare it without meat if you prefer.
On the very first bite of my dish, I’ve realized that the eggplant was breaded and deep, fry it in order to make the lasagna and that was not on the description. My intention was eating healthier so with No carbs, or I would have ordered the regular lasagna pasta and then I receive a dish with breaded eggplant that was not described so I could not eat my meal at all
