After our jeep tour around RMNP, we ate at this mexican restaurant. The food was great and aervice was good. My eyes are sometimes bigger than my stomach. They serve a lot on the plates. My burrito was huge!

This has been one of my favorite restaurants in Estes Park for years. The setting along the river is absolutely beautiful — perfect for outdoor dining in the summer and stunning during fall foliage season.

I tried the spicy mango margarita this time, and it was an incredible twist on my usual lime margarita — just the right balance of sweetness and a touch of spice for a nice kick! We also ordered a few appetizers, and both the food and service were excellent.

We visited on a weekday afternoon when it was peaceful and quiet, but it can get busy and lively during peak hours. Highly recommend this spot if you enjoy delicious Mexican cuisine in a scenic setting.

If I could give a minus rating I would.

Food was way overpriced and so bland. The waiter didn’t check in on us so I had to go find some sauce to add spice to my disgusting meal. I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant before where they charge for chips, especially when the dishes are $20-$30. Oh my gosh I found mushy green beans and corn in my rice. So disgusting. The waiter actually told me they include green beans and corn in their rice, yet my friend didn’t have any in her rice. I would not want to see their kitchen.

My friend returned her dish because the chicken was raw, the food was grossly bland.

A huge no for me. I’m actually pissed it costs me over $20 for an absolutely horrible meal.

Great tasting food in a very spacious relaxing atmosphere in this by The River Walk restaurant. Although there is outdoor seating I chose to sit inside facing the wall of double height windows with views of the trees as well as the river.
There’s also a full service bar lounge with plenty of choices. My Chicken Fajitas came piping hot to which I added some salsa for a nice meal. Highly recommend.

One star only because of the location.

Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. Everything lacked flavor — the beans, rice, meat, shrimp… nothing was seasoned well. The guacamole looked old and had turned black, and the pico de gallo also tasted spoiled.

The frozen margarita had Tapatío sauce in it, which was unexpected and didn’t taste good at all.

The ceviche was a joke — just pre-cooked shrimp mixed with ketchup. No onion, barely any (old) tomato, no cilantro, no lime. It was inedible.

Being a Mexican restaurant, we expected complimentary chips and salsa, but they only bring them if you ask — and they charge you for them.

One of the dishes came with raw meat, and no one even asked how we wanted it cooked. The other was properly cooked but still bland.

Everything was overpriced for the quality we received. We will not be coming back.

We were the only ones in the restaurant (on a Tuesday) and service was so slow! Food was good and portion sizes were big! Expensive and wished I saw the previous review that told about 3% charge when credit card is used.

Very few places that get to have this type of view and this amount of food. Go in with a good attitude and you can’t go wrong. The portions of the food are pretty substantial to say the least. I’ve come back more than once this summer so far . Can’t beat the price if you think about it compared to other spots. And the times I’ve come thru they’ve had drink/food specials of the day/week. I frequent other cities and $13 for a top shelf marg is not bad in this crazy economy. Highly recommend. I’ll def be back soon.

THE ONLY REASON I AM GIVING THIS PLACE A 1 STAR IS BECAUSE 2x NOW WHEN WE HAVE LOOKED ON THEIR RESTAURANT ON GOOGLE THEY SAY THEY ARE OPEN SO WE DRIVE 45 MINS TO GET HERE AND THEY ARE CLISED! I HAVE A PIC OF THEIR HOURS OF OPERATION SIGN AND IT SAYS THEY ARE OPEN WHEN THEY ARE NOT. Why can’t they communicate with the public ahead of time so no one else does the same thing we have done! Sooooooo disappointing!

Completely hit the spot. Service was fantastic and helpful. We sat outside which offered some nice views of the area around us. Food tasted great, yet didn’t come out very hot. Though we would definitely return.

I’ve never been treated this terribly at a restaurant. The rice was cold, so i wanted to get it taken off the bill which it was. Then another member in my party received stale and cold nachos. She then asked for it to be taken off aswell, we then were told we’d have to speak to the manager. The manager came over EXTREMELY disrespectfully, and implied that we were trying to get our whole meal comped. Which we were not, and we made this apparent he then proceeded to tell us that he “knows his restaurant, and nothing is stale.” but it in fact was. He then was yelling at us and told us that our meal was good and that we should expect too much out of nachos because it’s cheese and chips? He was very rude and disrespectful to my party but the best part is after the disrespectful behavior and yelling, he still took off the nachos.
