Best mexican food in Cookeville! I especially like how you actually get fresh veggies on your plate, tricks you into thinking you’re making healthy choices. The table salsa is definitely better than average. Great bar and beer selections. Will definitely be back!! Half price margaritas on Tuesdays!

Tried this place for the first time earlier this week and I’m already planning my next visit.
The food was phenomenal. I ordered the birria tacos and they were hands down some of the best I’ve had. Tender, packed with flavor, perfectly crisped, and that consommé was next level. I was so hungry I forgot to let social media eat first, so no photos. That should tell you everything.
Service was just as impressive. Friendly, welcoming, and fast without feeling rushed. Our food came out quickly, everything was fresh, and the staff made the whole experience easy and enjoyable.
If you’re debating whether to try it, go. Just maybe take a picture before you dive in.

Scrumptious tarasca soup with lots of sliced avocados and chicken, steamed veggies enchiladas, chicken soft tacos with melted cheese, fajitas Jalisco, and plenty of chips and salsa.! It was an order to go for a phone bank. Unfortunately, the tortillas for the fajitas were missing. Thank goodness I had some in our pantry!

We stopped here for lunch driving through Cookeville. This restaurant did not disappoint. The food was good. We got the fajitas. Service was good/friendly & fast. Restaurant & bathrooms were clean! We would definitely come back.

Salsa was ok. Glad they served free Cheese/bean dip. Unfortunately, they brought out all our food stacked up, so I was only able to eat half of my plate considering the other half was smashed into by the bottom of a gross plate. Wish they just carried it out on a tray so my food wasn’t contaminated. Oh well.

Enjoyed going here last night for supper as we drove back from Nashville airport. Salsa tasted bland and not that spicey. Chips were good. Bathroom had soap, water, and paper towels. Pollo chipotle tacos (3) for me were tasty! Wife had veggie tacos. Service was good. Candy for sale at checkout was a plus. Good times.

Boost for Casa Grande Mexican Restaurant Cookeville.
I don’t think we have ever had a bad meal here before! Last night I tried the queso birria tacos. They are by far the best birria tacos that I have tried so far. The meat was extremely tender. It was seasoned and flavored perfectly. The consomé was thick and flavorful.
My daughter-in-law got a chicken quesadilla and my daughter got a chicken house salad. Both of these had a large amount of shredded chicken added.
Everything was delicious.
