We were looking for an Italian restaurant for Valentine’s Day because our favorite place was fully booked. After reading the reviews, we made a choice. Having lived in Italy for several years, we know Italian cuisine very well. This is not a “fine dining” restaurant; by status, it’s more of a bar, but definitely not a restaurant. If you are looking for a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and a calm atmosphere, this is not the place for you. It’s terribly noisy inside, with a bar area where everyone is just screaming over each other.
The Food: The complimentary bread and oil — the bread was unsalted and tasteless. The mixture served with it is not high-quality extra virgin olive oil; it’s some strange, unrecognizable liquid that has nothing in common with olive oil.
Appetizers: Mussels with white wine — the taste of the mussels wasn’t bad, but they came with a horrible onion sauce! The eggplant with ricotta was absolutely tasteless: no Italian seasoning, no salt, just cheap tomato sauce.
Main Course: Shrimp pasta. Attention, the price is $40 per dish! For that, you get 5 shrimps and a piece of a half-raw lobster tail. We were offered a choice between traditional or spicy. Since I don’t eat spicy food, I asked for non-spicy. We also ordered risotto and sausages in sauce.
The Result: They brought the main dish, and it turned out to be terribly spicy! In the end, I couldn’t eat it. It was tasteless, unsalted, and spicy, even though we warned them! The risotto wasn’t risotto at all, but just plain, tasteless rice. When the waiter came, we said, “You made a mistake, the dish is spicy and I didn’t eat it.” The waiter did not offer a replacement or a discount; he only said “sorry.” Then the manager came over, we also told him they served the wrong dish, and he also just said “sorry.” No complaints about the young waiter personally—he was doing his job—but the mistake was never corrected.
$142 for a ruined holiday and a ruined dinner—are you serious?! Objectively, absolutely everything was tasteless. They don’t fix their mistakes or offer replacements. I left hungry. We took home everything we didn’t eat because we paid for it. We will never go back and do not recommend it to anyone!

I ordered catering from Casa Giuseppe’s for a party and overall had a very good experience. The food was wonderful — I ordered five different dishes and every guest enjoyed them. Everything was ready on time, and the staff was kind and helpful, even assisting me to my car at pickup.
However, I did experience an issue with pricing. When I arrived to pay, the total was higher than the prices listed on the catering menu I was provided when placing the order. For example:
Half sausage & peppers: menu $60 → paid $75
Full lasagna: menu $120 → paid $130
Half Caesar salad: menu $50 → paid $55
Half chicken wings: menu $70 → paid $75
Half mini cannolis: menu $40 → paid $55
I mentioned the discrepancy to the staff at pickup, but there was no adjustment or accommodation offered. The total difference was about $50. While the food was still worth it, it would have been helpful to be informed of the price changes ahead of time.
I would order from them again based on the quality of the food and the timeliness of the service, but clearer communication and consistency with pricing would greatly improve the overall experience.

We absolutely loved this restaurant. I was given a gift certificate of a $100 for Giuseppe’s as a Christmas gift from a couple of dear friends. After dining last week at Giuseppe’s, my friend are now top rated. We had such a nice evening, the service and food were both excellent. I had one drink and my better half had a tea. We had Chicken Picata and Chicken Francese. It was served with warm bread and olive oil. Everything was perfect. We ate up the $100 and added another 20 and it was well worth it. Thank you Giuseppe’s and thanks to Ken and Rob!!

Delicious food! We had the duck (reminds me of Peking Duck. Think an orange chicken sauce on top). Meat bolognese with rigatoni pasta (very good and creamy. I liked that the meat in the meat sauce was chunky and not small bits of mushy ground beef). Chicken Marsala was just okay. The sauce was bland. Eggplant Parmesan, was also very good. The noise level is ridiculous inside. We chose to order to go. Will definitely eat here again, just never inside. To go orders only 🙂
