We love the homemade menudo, especially homemade tortillas flour and corn. Chilaquiles verdes with chicken are the best, served with potatoes and beans. Kiddos love coming here for the menudo, especially. Waitstaff is always friendly and constantly checking on you. Service is always great!

Stopped in for lunch. Lots of parking is available, and we were seated after a brief wait. Service was good and atmosphere is casual. Warm chips and mildly spicy salsa are provided for free. I enjoyed the 2 cheese enchiladas, beans and rice. My wife had the Lite Combo which was a taco, enchilada, queso and guacamole. Complimentary tortillas came with the meal, made in house. Food was great and reasonably priced. Total for our meals and 2 soft drinks was $27.67 before tip. A good local Tex Mex place!

The food here was good, solid decent Tex Mex, nothing amazing. We needed lunch and it did the job. The queso was good and the meat in the ground beef taco was tasty. I wouldn’t get the iced tea, it was murky and bland.

Ordered a small menudo and 3 breakfast tacos to go. The pics explain the disappointment and dissatisfaction. Paid $11 for this extra small and greasy menudo that was clearly poorly packaged. Didn’t even have much meat or hominy in it just a cup of menudo juice. So irritated about this. Robbing people seems to be common with this restaurant. Definitely won’t be returning or recommend. Owners should be ashamed!

Food is good, but the service was terrible and rude. When I ordered green chicken enchiladas, the waitress asked what sauce? I said it comes with Verde sauce. She repeated what sauce? I pointed to the menu at the green chicken enchiladas and said this. It comes with Verde sauce and thought she got it. Apparently she brought chicken fajita enchiladas with Verde sauce. They were still chicken and I had no idea there were fajita enchiladas on the menu that cost several dollars more. So when the check came and I said this isn’t what I ordered (because I noticed the price difference)they refused to change it saying I should have noticed the difference in chicken vs chicken and said something but since I ate it they wouldn’t do anything. I’m sorry but it isn’t my responsibility to have your menu memorized. I made my order very clear even pointing to the menu. Unfortunately they wouldn’t change the ticket and preferred the few dollars difference to us ever coming back. Fortunately Rio Grande is now open again just a short distance away so we will go there. The service was not good in addition to this. Drinks were brought half way through the meal and boxes were brought when we asked for to go cups. We just decided to pay and leave and not deal with that though. It just seemed like they brought whatever they wanted and we were supposed to be appreciative even if it wasn’t what we asked for.

I’m from out of town and some friends showed us Garcia’s and we loved it. I had the casa Gs plate it was awesome. Also they have really good sweet tea! The lady’s that work there are very hard working nice lady’s. Thank you all.
