I always love eating at Casa Frida! The food is delicious and authentic, Mexican with a variety of flavors and dishes, delivering gastronomical goodness. Tuesday nights are $3 tacos and the margaritas are wonderful, and my mandarin orange margarita was exceptional. Come to eat and pay homage to Frida!

Love the ambiance and decor. Feels fun and exciting without being cliche or stereotypical.
Service was awesome. Server was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. Owner came to the table and was warm, welcoming and brought complimentary shots (see picture).
Drinks were incredible!!!! Hibiscus Margarita with tajin rim was unbelievable! Cucumber spice Margarita was fantastic. Shots were sweet and fun. Brazilian Caipirinha was sensational.
Food just delicious, better than it could have expected:
Fundido(with ground beef)
Guacamole (standard)
Chips/salsa
Taco trio (birria, Mayan grilled chix, carne asada) black beans were truly amazing!
The menu is packed with a beautiful assortment of foods i cannot wait to try when I come back!
My experience is my own and not everyone may get the same incredible service and food but Id come back again and again because it was so incredible.
No shade intended, but if your go-to Mexican place is LaBamba, then I urge you to drive 1/2 mile north to experience sensational food and service.

Atmosphere was the best part. I liked the music they were playing and the decoration. The food was well made. Many of the recipes are authentic. Our server held my experience back. She forgot to bring us things we asked for, and brought me green when I asked for red sauce for my dish.

My husband and I recently had Sunday lunch with our son and daughter-in-law at Casa Frida. We had such a wonderful experience. The service was excellent. Menu items were explained and suggested with love and excitement from the owner and staff. We sat at our table for a few hours before the Sunday evening crowd started arriving; eating, drinking, talking, and feeling like we were special guests. We truely enjoyed our time at this delicious food establishment.

What a gem this place is to our community. We stumbled on this place with my wheelchair bound mother in law and they were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely fantastic. The owner greeted our table. Mariachi Band was a bonus and we highly enjoyed the music. The chicken fajitas are a huge portion and very flavorful. I would highly recommend coming in and supporting this wonderful locally owned and truly authentic Mexican restaurant.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. Upon entering you are engulfed in an atmosphere of art, beauty and history. The food is almost as rich as the culture in here. The Birria tacos were superb. The guacamole has won dozens of awards, and now I see why. To top it off they had super fun margarita flavors and a delightful dessert menu. I can’t believe I’ve been passing this place for years and never went in until yesterday. 5 stars! Lastly, Stephany is one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time, from any dining establishment. She was so fun, knowledgeable, and had a fantastic personality. She was a big part of perfect experience as a first time guest.

This place is one of my absolute favorites. Very welcoming since you walk in the door. Victor, the owner is always around greeting you and making sure everything is wonderful. The food is incredible and the drinks are over the top. They also make it so fun while you are there. Highly recommend the guacamole, The supreme fajita, and definitely the short ribs. Make sure to come celebrate the 14th year anniversary on Sunday, January 25.

Coming here from Yelp, had to share on Google as well 🙂 Came here with my family of 7. Safe to say we were thoroughly impressed. We started with appetizers, all of which were perfectly shareable. The stand-outs had to be the delicious pork belly guacamole and flavourful tamales. We also tried out different mains from the QuesoBirria, to short rib birria, to fajitas, to burritos. Every plate was absolutely delicious! Very authentic flavours. The churros and traditional flan are also a must-try. The service was fantastic; our lovely waitress Julietta was incredibly knowledgeable and an all-around gem. There was also a gentleman that checked in on us throughout our meal (assuming he’s the owner, we didn’t catch his name) who was very kind and attentive as well. Awesome music playing as well! Overall, a very pleasant evening! We will definitely be returning!
