We had amazing lunch at Casa Fiesta in James Island.
The inside of Casa Fiesta is bright, colorful, and very inviting.
The host and our server, Celine, were friendly and attentive.
Our food came at the decent time and they tasted so good. We ordered the steak tacos, shrimp tacos, and steak Jalisco (never had this at Mexican restaurant )and it was so good!
We had the churros with vanilla ice cream drizzle with chocolate syrup and they were so good.
We recommend this place if you are looking for a good, authentic Mexican food.

While it doesn’t look like much from the outside, it’s a very nice restaurant on the inside, with incredible color and thoughtfulness given to the aesthetic. Aside from employee on break at the bar playing his phone loudly without headphones, we had a really nice experience. The food was very good, hot, and we received it quickly.

Absolutely love their 3 taco meal, $8.75… I today’s climate you just can’t beat that unless it’s taco night somewhere. But the service is always through the roof as well, some of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining with. I eat out alone a lot, so it’s nice to get similar great service that big parties are used to. Most places assume I won’t tip a lot since I’m alone, but I promise if you make my experience enjoyable and not more lonely, I will tip well. This place I never have a problem with, they are awesome.

Server was very engaged and enthusiastic! Abundant portions so much so the sampler appetizer item’s is enough to feed 2 adults! Cost was low in comparison to the amount of food. Lower than most competitors! I know this due to my ol lady and myself eating at different establishments.

Standard cold red salsa; nothing special, w/ stale chips. But the shredded beef fried chimichanga was wonderful. Cold draft, huge tequila selection. 2 TVs over the bar. Staff seemed to completely disappear 5mins at a time. Short handed? Very nice inside. Seems freshly renovated.

Arrived at Casa Fiesta around 6:30 on a Friday evening for dinner in July. We were seated immediately upon entering the establishment. The restaurant wasn’t vacant nor busy; it was comfortably in-between.

The ambiance was welcoming, but loud. Unfortunately, the screaming of young children and clanking of dishware echoed off the walls. The decor was very pleasant; I absolutely loved the artwork. The table was wobbly and tipped upon placing weight upon it. The booth seats had rice sprinkled across it; they could’ve used a good wipe-down before seating customers.

Our server was kind, quick, thorough and efficient. Food arrived within 15 minutes of placing our order. The server kept our waters filled and checked on us regularly, though we did have to flag them down for the check and a box.

They brought chips and salsa to the table while we waited for our dinner, which didn’t take us long to clear. The salsa had a delicious flavor and appealing consistency. Unfortunately, it was too spicy for me to eat, but I have a spice sensitivity, so I’m a terrible judge of spice. What I did taste was good though, and the chips were fried perfectly; not overcooked nor oversalted.

I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and it was delicious. Husband ordered the trio enchiladas, and said they were the best enchiladas he’s had in a while. Daughter ordered shredded beef nachos and successfully ate half her plate (which is a good thing; she eats like a mouse). And our son had the machete special and ate most of his plate. Overall, the good was wonderful.

The price was affordable and more importantly, we didn’t feel ripped off or receive sticker shock. I highly recommend this establishment. You get your money’s worth! We will return the next time we’re in Charleston.

Cool place if you like looking at sugar skull paintings and listening to music.

Food is bland, lots of fillers in their dishes: Mexican food is not what they have – American food is probably more of the case.

Wait staff: boring and don’t look like they want to be at working. Would absolutely not recommend wasting your time. At the same time maybe you don’t care about anything and have an emotional connection to the place. Every one is different.

The food and service here was just okay. We had to wait awhile to order and to get our food which was weird because the severs were just sitting at a table all together talking. No one even offered us refills. The only thing positive from our experience is that they were open until late and we did not have to wait for a table.
