I ordered the seafood platter, and the entire dish was extremely overcooked to the point of being completely inedible. The texture and flavor were ruined, and it was honestly disappointing considering the price. What made the experience worse was that the staff didn’t offer a discount, replacement, or any attempt to address the issue. For what they charge, I expected far better quality and service. Overall, the food was overpriced, poorly prepared, and the customer service was lacking. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience.

Make sure when you order from the Happy Hour menu, youre at the bar. They do not show anywhere this applies to the bar only. This is at the table where tou will be deceived. I have been coming here for years and this is the 1st time Ive ever ordered off this menu. Only to be charged full price. When in question that is when we were told it applies to the bar only. This should be clarified when ordering and maybe shouldn’t be placed at the table. The food is always delicious and the service is outstanding. Beautiful music. But very disappointed in the false advertisement.

This was the BEST food I’ve had. Double-sized portions with low pricing. I was at the restaurant on Sunset for my birthday. Shrimp burrito, fajitas and a tostada bowl. Service and atmosphere are perfect. Some Pinkbox for dessert.

Visited Casa Don Juan again last night and realized that it’s Senor Juan’s overall consistency which makes the Henderson location shine. It’s as if just as soon as I lift my head to look for service, service is there to help, being very attentive but neither lurking nor fawning. The food is always good, and your drinks, and complimentary chips and dips are refilled as needed throughout your meal. This location is always clean, smells great, and the atmosphere and decor is so appealing (if you are a Frida Kahlo fan and haven’t been here, you’re missing the incredible dining room dedicated to her memory *sigh*). Never disappointed at Casa Don Juan Henderson. On the other hand, I personally would not recommend the downtown location.
