I sat at the bar as I was by myself. Service was prompt. I got the complimentary chips and salsa. Nice crunchy chips and a pretty good salsa. They’ve got good hot sauces on the table. I ordered the Carne Asada tacos with floor tortillas and beans Mexicano style and a Negra Modelo. They put the beer in a frosty mug which was a bonus. Really tasty tacos and the beans were yummy. The service was also top notch – very friendly and just the right amount of attentiveness. I really love it here. This is my new favorite local Mexican place.

Service was good but unfortunately food didn’t quite make the mark. I ordered tacos de birria with consomé and they tasted odd, almost sweet. I would compare the taste to mole. My husband ordered the whole fried mojarra, taste was good just over fried. Overall an okay experience but I wouldn’t say authentic. Wouldn’t come back or recommend.

I got food poisoning. My waiter was cool no problem from him. I got the chori pollo. That was all I ate that day. Felt fine until I ate the food. Ended up getting a terrible food poisoning. Could barely move. Very high temperature. I called and tried to get a refund. They refused to give me one. I will never come back here and suggest you don’t either. All my homies hate casa don Jose.

Really great experience, wanted to try a new place and this is now going to make the rotation. The Texas Fajitas had a great mix of steak, chicken and shrimp with ample portions of each. We also tried the beef and chicken taquitos, the beef was cooked perfectly and shredded beautifully, the chicken was moist and the shells for both had a perfect crisp when bitten into. The rice is fluffy and buttery, great side to balance the robust flavor of the fajitas.

I’ve been riding by this place all the time, and my boyfriend and I decided to try it. The food was amazing and hot, and everything tasted good. I did have to put a little salt and pepper on my food, but that’s my preference. I would most definitely come back and eat here again.

The food and service was great! But I want to talk about something else that meant much more. My little guy is neuro divergent and the music was overwhelming. To the point he froze and had his hands over his ears. They noticed and turned the music down but he was beyond that being a fix so they turned it off. It seems like a small gesture but it means a lot to be able to dine with extended family visiting and not have to cut a meal short. It was so appreciated and this is now our go to Mexican restaurant.

The food was good and flavorful. I had a fried chimichanga with beef. I was a little caught off guard because I thought the beef was going to be ground beef, but it was shredded beef, however, it was still good. The rice and beans was seasoned very good. I also had the top shelf margarita. I was a little sadden when there was no different flavors for the margarita but I was fine with the one flavor. All in all food was good, service was good, place was clean, bathrooms were clean and decor was really nice. My picture it’s all that nice because I mixed my sour cream and guacamole together before I took my picture.
