When we arrived, the power was out, but the staff welcomed us in anyway. They explained that options were limited at the moment, but they had spaghetti. They were so kind. However, the power came on full menu was available. The lasagna was amazing!!! I’ve never had calamari cooked this well!! In my opinion, it was perfect. The bread they served with it was delicious! My mother-in-law loved the baked ziti and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his spaghetti! The atmosphere was welcoming and the decor was beautiful. They have spacious and clean restrooms. I will be going back! I’m happy to drive an hour for this amazing place! I love that it’s authentic.

Very nice restaurant and experience. My wife and i went for our anniversary. Our waiter was nice. Food was hot and tasted freshly made. Even our cheesecake. Highly satisfied and recommend. Only thing id note is that it was hard to tell if they were open at night from crosstown. We thought they were closed until we turned in to see the open sign on.

This was my first time here, met a lovely lady who came to our table for a little chitchat and the prices were reasonable. Also, let me say our waiter was kind enough to come to the parking lot.Because my friend left their phone in the restaurant.I happened to still be in the parking lot and since I could not call i just waited in the parking and she came back, I gave her her phone. Good looking out

We stopped here on a trip back from Birmingham, It was a highlight of our night. The food and experience was incredible. Authentic Italian food at a very reasonable price. A clean, cozy environment suitable for any family.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I just had to for this place because I was extremely let down considering the way this place advertises itself and the price of it all. The service and the atmosphere were both fine. It’s a nice building; the staff were respectful and friendly. The only complaint in that department is that the floors are really quite greasy and I imagine it would be really easy to slip and fall, especially for the elderly. Now, onto the food. For starters everything looks like it was pulled out of a frozen box. Our appetizers were clearly pulled from a box in the freezer and I suspect that the calamari may have even been old given its strong fishy smell and rubbery texture. The salad was served with hardly any dressing on it and the dressing was probably store bought. The entree courses were bland and the sauces are clearly made in large batches and not made fresh each time. If you’ll notice the sauce on the spaghetti carbonara is split and they just served it like that. The veal is rubbery and it’s clear that they buy it already breaded from the fact that the crust was moist and soggy underneath the sauce. The olive oil appetizer they serve you doesn’t even taste like olive oil. If you want my advice just go to Olive Garden. It’s a thousand times cheaper and honestly might be better than whatever the “cooks” are microwaving here.

This place is a must for people who love Italian cuisine. Our server Tim was busy but he did his best to take care of us.
The food absolutely 10/10!
I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the lasagna. It. Was. Amazing! We also had the fried mozzarella as an appetizer. The marinara is divine. We were served warm garlic knots with an olive oil dipping sauce that was seasoned with garlic and herbs. I could have had the bread alone as a meal. Every bite we had was incredibly delicious!
We definitely have found a new favorite place for authentic Italian cuisine. Eat here!!

Everything was wonderful, highly recommend! (Note to staff, the strong cleaning solution does not mix well with the wonderful aroma of your Italian food. Suggest you wait until you’re closed to use.)

Casa d’Italia has only been open a month and is already thriving—place was packed on a Wednesday night, which says a lot! I grabbed a seat at the bar where the service was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the veal tropes, a dish I’ve never seen on a menu before, and it was absolutely delicious—the veal was perfectly tender and the sauce was rich and full of flavor. The complimentary bread was fresh and tasty, and I couldn’t resist getting dessert to go. The Italian cream cake was excellent! Definitely a spot worth coming back to.
