This might be my new favorite restaurant in Buffalo. We were pleasantly surprised to find an amazing dinner deal. For (I think) $70 you get bread, an appetizer, two salads, two palette cleansers, two entrees, and two desserts. And every single course was delicious!! I didn’t get pictures but my two favorite things were the caprese salad and the palette cleanser, which was a raspberry lemon coconut sorbet served IN A LEMON! Definitely go have dinner here! Went for dinner with my girlfriend using the Groupon special they have currently and it’s totally worth it! I can’t emphasize enough how much you should get that deal to try a variety of things on the menu.

I really wanted to give more stars because the food was that good and menu was priced well – hats off to the chef! Plus, the waitress was very sweet but put in a bad predicament. Unfortunately, it seemed like she was the only server. The amount of time we waited for service and the area we were seated was nearly unacceptable.The table was located in a hallway right in front of doors leading outside; the draft coming through the doors made it very cold. Plus, there was a fairly large leak that could be seen in the ceiling above us…the patrons sitting directly below had to move their table so they would not get wet. I do hope service and ambiance improves once Covid is over and life returns to normal as this place does have much potential!

Casa di Francesca was a beautiful find. It has a lovely exterior strangely situated within a neighborhood. Our waitress was Francesca. She was adorable, sweet and soft spoken. She clearly communicated the menu for us and then we strolled through a delicious meal. We could hear the folks at the neighboring tables all complimenting their meals as well. Garlic bread was served with an odd dipping oil, however good. We had the fried ricotta balls with lemon sauce and mint as an appetizer. The tastes were mild and a bit like fried dough. Our salads were DELICIOUS and plentiful, one was the tomato mozzarella salad, the other was romaine hearts with plenty of Gorgonzola. We were full before the entrees came out. The eggplant with a stuffed hot pepper was the best I ever tasted! Crispy and hot! The restaurant Definitely became a favorite after tasting it. We also had the sausage pepper onion mushroom dish. Equally delicious! Desserts went home with us. We texted friends right from the table to let them know how great the food was. Service was really good. Dinner was an hour and a half experience of a slow stroll through Italy. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Small place. Make a reservation. We can’t wait to go back!

This hidden gem has everything you’d want from an Italian dining experience at reasonable prices. Vegetarian options are available along with a full bar, exceptional service and an amazing menu with atmosphere to match.

Absolutely disgusting. Food is not at all as described on menu and even when the incompetent girl @ the front admitted our order was wrong, they still would not issue a refund. I’m very embarrassed as a fellow italian. Floor is sticky and dirty in there so don’t want to imagine what the kitchen is like. Food there=spazzatura. Will never go back. Yes, sometimes things happen…but all of these things are too wrong. We’re going out for a pizza from a real italian who has perfected their food and values their customers-yeah..imperial. Good luck treating people like garbage & serving the same.

Saw this place nearby to where I moved to but never had a chance to go in. I heard it was on the show Restaurant Impossible I think and have been told it looks so much better inside. I really care more about how food is in a place in any case. But upon entry the place is clean and open. Long bench seating with chairs is along one wall across from the bar area. There is more formal dining room area towards the back. The staff is friendly and the owner is very hospitable. I have had the lobster gnocchi which was wonderful along with the hearts of romaine salad. The dressing is delicious. Last visit I had the balsamic marinated filet. Picture attached. It melted in my mouth and was cooked to perfection.
