The good is SUPPER good. Hot fresh. The waitress was very lovely and keep our drinks Filled Wish I would have gotten her name but anyways me and my husband both enjoyed this dinner for all we got it was Only 31? But we carried food home with us to !!! Very good p.s 3rd time being here.

The environment is very spacious and colorful. The decor is amazing to admire. The servers started off kind of rude, but changed their attitude as the night progressed. The food was good but needed seasoning. It was my second time coming here since they renovated and I prefer the carne asada botana plate for a party meal than individual meals. That’s my honest opinion and hope to see improvement if I come back.

This is THE BEST chicken soup that I’ve ever had in the US, you can feel the homemade flavor and the love on it, without expecting to find this spot, I find the best restaurant for chicken soup! Absolutely highly recommended, also! The customer service is so hommy, kind and respectful, the only thing I didn’t like was the restroom, needs more attention.

Tasted like the cooks had compassion. With taste and presentation hitting all the markers of a home made meal.
Server= OUTSTANDING… wasnt friendly at all gave off more of a family member vibe that was happy to see you again! Cup never emptied. Always close enough to get attention if needed but far enough where he did not feel he was hovering.
Atmosphere= the dining area felt conflicted on being an authentic Mexican restaurant vs restaurant.

The breakfast here was really good the service was great and the place is very well decorated.
The huevos rancheros were good, for $7.99 you get 2 eggs, fried corn tortilla, refried beans and potatoes, the bacon was $2.99 extra.
The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs was good(not amazing but good), the fried tortilla under the eggs was really tasty, the potatoes were prepared a la mexicana but they were lacking salt, the refried beans were just okay, I would have liked a strip of bacon for the price for a better presentation.
The huevos divorciados were also pretty good, but i wish they added more salsa on both eggs.
The flour tortillas were really good, the corn just okay.
They serve you toasted flour tortillas with salsa while you wait for the food.
The servers are very polite and attentive, I liked the attention of the staff.

Visiting the Valley and stopped the first place I found a Botana. I cannot believe you can’t find this in any other place. San Antonio doesn’t even have them. The food was great, service was great. Only negative was the tortilla chips. Hard as a rock but don’t let that stop you from going.
