Casa del rio is one of the better Mexican restaurants in akron. The portion sizes are quite large especially for the price. The service here is super fast. The food comes out shockingly quick. Like in just a few minutes. But it’s very nice the birria Tacos are really nice. The margaritas aren’t bad either they are fairly balanced between the sweetness and citrus. This place however does not have a huge menu by any means but what they do have is good.

The food here was absolutely amazing. Best fajitas I have ever had! The sauce on the fajitas made them even more wonderful. Their signature margarita was mixed beautifully and had great flavor. The Christmas music in Spanish was perfect for the ambiance and the service was excellent. Our server was friendly and kind and made great recommendations. We had our food within 15 minutes of ordering. All the food we got had very fresh ingredients and the restaurant itself was clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and we will be back!

Everything about our dinner here was outstanding. The employees were all super cool and awesome. We ordered tacos and they were hands down the best taco I’ve ever had. The restaurant was really nice and comfortable.

Delicious!!! Our server Kanet was very attentive and kind. We loved the upbeat music and coloful decor. The food was perfectly cooked & arrived quickly. Margaritas by the pitcher for a great price.

Disappointing experience at Casa Del Rio Express. We found a tag inside our food while eating—a major hygiene concern. When we told the staff, they apologized and removed the charge for that dish. While I appreciate the discount, finding a foreign object in a meal is unacceptable. Better quality control is needed in the kitchen.

When I’m on this side of town, this restaurant is my 1st choice in Mexican food. Food always hot & delicious & service workers fast & friendly. I like sitting in the outside patio area. It’s closed in and A/C with desirable, roomy seating. Pricing is competitive. I dined in. Great atmosphere to forget you’re in a heavy traffic zone. Plenty of parking + convenient handicap parking

Highly recommend this place. Friendly staff, our food came out so quick and they were generous portions. Chips&salsa were immediately brought to the table,and we ordered guac and queso, and 2 hot salsas. My burrito tropical was huge and the best chorizo I’ve ever had.
