Last night I had Camerones à la Diablo and talk about an excellent choice! That dish is savory and spicy and very well accompanied with beans and rice-I mean I know everybody has beans and rice, but their rice was a great standalone dish as was their beans. Not just a decoration on the plate, something that you truly enjoyed eating.
Ruben and David were excellent servers, checking back frequently to make sure I had plenty of water (I drink about five glasses)and the table didn’t need anything.
The portions were such that I couldn’t even begin thinking about ordering my favorite dish of flan, but I’m sure that would’ve been fantastic

Great Mexican food! Our favorite place off of Northgate (524 iykyk) closed down about a year ago. This place is the only place that is anywhere close to on par for us – amazing shredded beef, rice and beans. We’ve been back twice already and looking forward to more visits in the future. (No pics because we scarfed it down too fast )

From the moment the host greeted us to all throughout our meal, everyone on the staff was friendly and prompt. Our fajitas arrived sizzling and were excellent and the burrito / chile relleno combination plate was terrific. Also had the best michelada to drink!

The experience i had at this restaurant was terrific and great service the burrito grande was delicious with steak in it with adding the beans and rice the waiter lady was very kind and very polite with getting what we ordered right the chips and salsa was really good and the people there are very nice I appreciate the customer service with our seating and eating much appreciated place to crave Mexican food

We went here on a Sunday evening without reservations and were seated immediately. It was not crowded at all. Lovely decor and spacious area. The items we ordered were very authentic and delicious. The Chile Relleno was amazing. The service was very good.

I dropped into Casa Del Lago Mexican restaurant in Granite Bay, CA, for a late lunch on a recent lazy weekend afternoon. I’ve never been here before, driven by lots of times. Hubs and I enjoyed our meals. The food was tasty, flavorful. The service was top notch. The prices were reasonable. The ambiance was chill. The interior had a Spanish hacienda design. They have a separate bar area.
As I was looking at the menu, the first thing that caught my eye were the prices. I was anticipating them to be higher. But was pleasantly surprised. The one item combo was $12.99 and two item was $14.99. If you are a light eater, they sell al la carte items (hard shell tacos $5.25; enchiladas, tamales, and chile relleno $6-$8) and sides. Another thing I noticed was the diverse menu choices including a couple of vegan dishes. Lastly I noticed they sell bottled Jarritos and Mexican Coke. Wonderful that they offer non-HFCS soda options as well. Plus they offer a variety of wines, beers, cocktails, and margaritas.
Hubs ordered the crispy shredded beef taco combo $12.99 and I ordered the carne asada plate $19.95. The shredded beef in the taco was delicious. It was moist but still had a wonderful crisp sear to it. It was seasoned well, packed with flavor. The taco shell was freshly fried. The carne asada was super thin. It was seasoned well. Both plates came with Spanish rice and refried beans. Yum. The complimentary chips and salsa hit the spot. The salsa is delicious; it has a sweetness and a spiciness. Nice consistency.

As a local, I always enjoy visiting Casa del Lago on Auburn Folsom Rd. The staff was friendly, the food delicious with generous portion sizes – almost enough to share, and they truly have something for everyone. It’s been one of my happy places to enjoy some Mexican cuisine with great company!

I had the 2 item combination meal. I chose the Chile Relleno and chicken hard taco. They were the most blan Mexican food. Only parts I liked was the chips & salsa and the refried beans. They had a party group going on while we were there, so it took a while to order our food.

Always a great time here! Service is amazing and the food is even better! I have never had a bad experience here and would recommend to all of my friends and family. I had the chile verde burrito and it was one of the best I’ve had. We also enjoyed their house margaritas which are delicious. This is a great place to enjoy great food at a reasonable price.
