Good food and generous portions. The red sauce on my shrimp dish was just okay, but the salsa on the table was outstanding. The other three with me thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Service was very good, not to pushy but always available when you needed them. This place is a typical Mexican restaurant, not very fancy but it was very clean. We visited this place on the very week that they opened and the experience was not great. We thought we would try them again and we’re glad we did. We will come back.

Passing by a dozen times I really wanted to love this place. The food was very mediocre nothing that stood out as there own. Margarita was definitely not worth getting. It would be nice if fresher ingredients were used. Patio was very bare and seats don’t seem to really fit the tables. They need to put a little more effort into making it feel like a place you want to hangout.

A very nice and authentic Mexican restaurant. Service is fast, friendly and completed with a smile. Food was hot and good…fish tacos were good but needed a little more spice. Chile relleano was good and cilantro rice was moist and flavorful. Mojito was one of the best my wife has had and there is a good selection of draft beer.

We both had the lunch salads. They were great. I had chicken and shrimp on mine, and the chicken was warm tender and juicy they way it should be. The shrimp was cold. Lunch was great. Will definitely be back.

I have tried several Mexican restaurants between Cameron Park, El Dorado Hills & Folsom but none were really spectacular so we tried Casa del Lago in Granite Bay and were so happy we did. The food was delicious, flavorful, and good old fashioned comfort Mexican food! I had the carnitas and they were tender and full of flavor while my husband had the Diablo shrimp which were just the right amount of spicy he wanted. Service was great, definitely will be our go-to Mexican spot from now on!

Loved this place my first visit. I talked my husband into trying them today. What huge disappointment. The food today was mediocre compared to 2 months ago. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas Casadores it was $44 dollars. Okay but the server should have mentioned by the glass would have been better as far as cost to tequila ratio and the pitcher was more the then food for 2 people. I manage a restaurant and servers need to communicate to customers what is worth the money. Won’t be back and won’t recommend food is better at Lupitas 5 minutes away
