This was our 2nd visit and we loved it. I wanted to try something different so I ordered the tacos plate which came with 2 tacos of your choice and 2 sides. I think it was like $15, which was a good deal as o took home almost half of it. I selected the brisket and the al pastor tacos. Both were filled with meat. The brisket was super tender and moist and the al pastor had a bit of sweetness from the pineapple but not overly sweet. It balanced well with the tender pork. I opted for the corn tortillas and it was a bit challenging to eat. I don’t care for double shells but in this case, it may have been needed. The sides I chose were black beans and the corn elote, which I had on my previous visit. They give you a nice size serving of each and I took half of each home and they heated back up nicely. My friend got the chicken quesadilla, which she thoroughly enjoyed and also took some of it home due to the portion size. We’ll be back.

We wanted to try a Mexican restaurant we had never been to before, and we found one nearby. They impressed us right from the start. The chips were served hot, which was a great surprise, and everything else was top notch too. Usually when the food is really good, the portions are smaller, but here both the quality and the quantity were excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Once you have their chips and salsa, you’ll know you are in the right Mexican restaurant. The salsa is excellent. One of the best I’ve had in St. Louis. Happy Hour is busy and the best time for tacos. It’s $1 off of each taco. Everything is fresh and delicious.
And the margaritas are really good. There are no private rooms for parties, but there is a large area in the back corner, somewhat enclosed, that can be used for large parties. I had the Baja and blackened shrimp tacos. Anything on the menu are excellent. Our server was very attentive even though it was really busy. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.

I had a late lunch here and sat at the bar. The atmosphere was sleek and modern. This is a sister restaurant of the local place Three Kings Public House. The lady serving me was friendly and attentive. I ordered the carne asada fajitas with black beans and papas or potatoes. All the food was tasty- the potatoes were soft and delicious. The chips were great, the salsa did resemble a spiced up tomato paste. I did notice they had other salsas on the menu, but I didn’t try those. I look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Had dinner on a Saturday around 4pm. Restaurant was updated and had a modern feel. Immediate seating, friendly staff. Average time to wait for food. Had Birria Ramen and Chicken Al Pastor. Ramen was average but the Al Pastor was amazing. By the time we left around 5pm almost every seat was full. Would definitely visit again to try the rest of the menu.

Late post. Five star finger licking! Definitely would recommend. This was on a taco Tuesday. I ordered steak tacos Togo.

At first, I was going back and forth about eating them as they come with all the toppings; There was confusion while trying to place my order, I was being difficult on my end.

After quickly thinking, I begin to worry that if I made too many alterations the order would be incorrect. I decided to order them how they make them. I’m glad I did. They were phenomenal. Pricey! But worth it for sure. I will be back.

Food: Not impressed. Our table had the Quesa Birria, Queso Burrito, and several various orders of tacos. Everyone reported that their food was extremely bland. Some reported dried meats. One party did really enjoy the vegan chorizo taco.

I had the Birria which might as well have been lion’s choice roast beef. It lacked any real flavor and at $20 a plate, they are out of their mind.

Sides ordered included refried beans, black beans, and elote. The refried beans tasted store bought from a can. They were watery and of poor quality. The Elote – was not Elote. It was a bowl of canned sweet corn dumped in a small bowl with a bit of sauce and cotija on top. I make esquites and elote at my home on a regular basis – this was a pathetic offering.

Service: Visited at noonish on a Saturday and the place was empty with only a couple tables and only two wait staff. Should have been a clue in. Service was extremely slow. We received waters quickly but no one took beverage orders. Server couldn’t hardly answer questions about the menu (another clue in). Once our meal was complete, they dropped off boxes and disappeared. We had to chase down another server to get our check.

Atmosphere: it’s a really nice space that’s been nicely built out. Music wasn’t great for what the space is but at least it was at a reasonable volume.

Overall: it’s a nice space that fails to deliver the goods.

I would have loved to put a 5 stars because the place is very nice but there was dust near the tables on all the shelves. I’m a vegetarian and of course I know that this is not a 100% vegetarian place but I asked about several available options and how they prepared it but the waitress had no idea and didn’t want to ask the kitchen if it was made with animal meat or not. After all, the food was good and the fried plantain was delicious. I loved the margarita glasses! I went with my 8-year-old daughter and they didn’t give me a sheet to paint with crayons! I realized that they did have them when we left the place.

I always have a great time here! The food and drinks are amazing but KRISTY at the bar is what keeps me coming back ! She is incredibly friendly and very memorable! Plus her little sombrero she wears is iconic! Highly recommend grabbing a seat at the bar if she is working !!

I have been meaning to check out Casa de Tres Reyes and decided to go for lunch on a Saturday. I was immediately greeted by friendly staff and seated at a booth. Seating included outside, inside, and bar dining, with a brightly lit dining area. I ordered the birria fries, tres reyes nachos with birria, queso burrito with al pastor chicken, and birria quesadilla, with elote. The birria fries and nachos made for a great appetizer, with melty and flavorful queso, and well seasoned and marinated beef birria that fell apart in the mouth, the queso burrito had a mix of flavorful queso, melty cheese, rice, black beans and well seasoned al pastor chicken which made for a good alternative to the usual pork, the birria quesadilla came packed with equally well seasoned and marinated beef birria, melty cheese, verde salsa, guacamole, pico, and cilantro adding complex flavors and texture, the elote was nice, creamy and packed with a nice layer of cotija. The food was well seasoned and balanced, and the variety of options left a lot of choices for any occasion. I highly recommend any of their birria dishes as the beef birria is well seasoned, balanced, and melts in your mouth.
